Ok, I have a simple question and I wanted to know if you could help me. I've been in the Queen fandom for about 4 years, but until now I don't know who Crystal Taylor is. I've done research but haven't been able to find anything. And I see that a lot of people comment about him/her, could you help me please ?

Of course! Crystal is a guy (his real name is Chris Taylor but he pretty much just goes by Crystal to fans. Also, he’s not related to Roger, they just have the same last name). He was Roger’s personal assistant from 1975 until I think 1988 and then again at the Tribute Concert. He’s said he did every live show from the A Night at the Opera tour to the Tribute Concert, which is pretty cool. He helped out on Roger’s first two solo albums and I believe the first Cross album as well
He’s told lots of great stories about working with Queen over the years, if you search the tag “#crystal’s tales” on my blog, you should find some I’ve reblogged if you want to check them out
But basically yeah, he was Roger’s assistant and friend and was very, very close with him and the band! He doesn’t work for them anymore though, and last I heard he’s currently living in Australia
