As the Brown Community it is in OUR duty to utilize each other, each other's connections, ideas, opinions, and voices. A huge problem we face is hatred within one another in our cultures. Chicanx/Mexican/central and south Americas are always butting heads with one another. Even in our own cultures we ignore Afro-Latinx/brown folx. The Colorism is real. What we need to do, is 1) decolonize ourselves and EDUCATE ONE ANOTHER. Whether it be meeting after meeting, call ins, library meet ups, whatever. We need to teach one another and learn our struggles and unite for justice. These Latinx/Brown folx who were reduced by hashtags deserve more than that. They all do. What can we do? We can begin organization, starting a collective, talking, speaking up, doing shit about it. Y'all who say you're revolutionaries or down for the struggle need to really be down and do something. I want to start LA based meetings/ a collective named ESCUCHA and for every hermanx lost we should now hashtag #ESCUCHA BC we need people to listen. We need our voices heard to. Also, we need to be in solidarity with our black brothers and sisters bc without them we are nothing. Check your friends when they're language is antiblack, using the N word, it's not theirs to reclaim. Check you family, coworkers, boss don't be afraid BC fear will get us nowhere but a bullet in our chest. #unite with our #BlackLivesMatter family BC it's time. It's now. DM ME YOUR NAME (first and last) AND AGE IF YOU ARE DOWN FOR THIS REVOLUTION. ITS TIME TO BE HEARD!!!! #ESCUCHA #pedrovillanueva #raulsaavedraVargas #melissaVentura #anthonyNunez #VinsonRamos
