By Steven S. Drachman. Way back there in the early 1980s, I was a student at Columbia College in New York City, feeling kind of proud of that — not proud of being at Columbia so much, which I thought was stupid and sucky and filled with assholes and bad teachers and bad dining hall...

A few months ago, I wrote this little tribute to Mike Chandler, in Audere Magazine. He was the frontman on one of my favorite NY bands back in the 1980s, and he died this year. I was lucky enough to meet him and interview him back then. His music was great, if you get a chance to listen to it.
