Ravenfall by Kalyn Josephson
Summary:
Thirteen-year-old Anna Ballinkay has never been normal. Her family uses their psychic abilities to help run the Ravenfall Inn, a magical B&B between the human world and the Otherworld. But it’s hard to contribute when your only power is foreseeing death.
So when fourteen-year-old Colin Pierce arrives at Ravenfall searching for his missing older brother, Anna jumps at the chance to help. But the mysteries tied to Colin go much deeper than either of them expects...
Now the supernatural creature straight out of Celtic mythology, one with eerie connections to Colin's family, is coming after them. If Anna and Colin can’t stop the creature, it would spell destruction for Ravenfall and the world as they know it.

☁️ Plumshade, 🌈 Widowvenom, and ☀️ Ravenfall <3
YAYAYAY the dark and goth crew..... love the black cat themeing going on here lmao
☁️ Plumshade – if Plum had caved and left the Clan like his cousins did, I think he probably would've ended up in Cladach! Partly because Weepy's in Monadh so why would he go there ew stay away, but also because Cladach is such an artsy place! Song, dance, poetry, and freedom to not be in such a close community all the time would've been something Plum really enjoyed, but I think ultimately he would have felt very out of place and disconnected from his newly-adopted Clan too. A few good friends would fix that probably but leaving Gaoithe wouldn't have actually changed or improved much for him. If he was BORN in another Clan he probably also would've hated it tbh but he'd be Monadh if he was born not Gaoithe <3
🌈 Widowvenom – haha. well. I'd like for them to go crazy feral very badly. I need stressors to get to them so bad that they snap and start screaming at somebody, and maybe get into a physical altercation with them. Because they are so balanced between arrogance and the most fragile, low sense of self worth you've ever seen that they need something to like, PUSH them over into one or the other. I want them to cry and sob and try to kill somebody at the same time you feel me. Bonus points if this happens in view of somebody they care about so they can let them down and worsen their spiral.
☀️ Ravenfall – I need him to be friends with Snailskip so bad man. SO bad. They need to have conversations about what happened during the war and about Waspfang they make me CRAZY the potential they've got. I'd be really interested to see him actually develop something more genuine with Craneflight too!! They are some of the few in the Clan who are in a position where they really CANNOT judge each other and I think that has potential, Raven's just gotta,,, stop being himself around Crane for a second. Potential for interesting friendships with Chirpingbird, Mossypath, and Mountainheart too for CanyonClan stuff! I also think it would be supremely funny if he managed to actually befriend some of the perfectly nice widows and housewives and generally cool women across the borders too, like, Ponytrot or Hollywisp or someone like that. Those seem unlikely to me but it's a haha just kidding unless situation
Latest haul...
Well, as you can guess, I made another run at the bookstore. Today I actually got to visit two different bookstores….came home with 10 more books to add to the collection. My hubby and I didn’t really get to do anything for Valentine’s Day because we were both working. So much hubby took the day off from work today so that we could spend the day doing fun stuff.

Entry #2: Dreams
Heyyy.
So I asked Stormcloud if I could become a Medicine Cat Apprentice, and he said “Yes”!
I’m so excited to meet my new mentor, he said it would be Wolfheart.
My ceremony was today!
It’s Raven/paw/ now! But last night I had this really weird dream.
There was this cat that kinda looked like me, and they said their name was Ravenpelt. They asked me questions, like if I wanted to be remembered.
If I wanted to be great and such.
I don’t remember everything, but I’m pretty sure I said “yes” everytime.
Well anyway, Wolfheart is an AMAZING mentor! He was once a warrior, but now he’s a Medicine Cat!
Can’t wait to learn all I can from him!
Until next time,
Ravenpaw
