"How was Emma today?"
"Her usual self. She did her work, answered when called on; nothing out of the ordinary. I wish I could get her to be more active in class but I understand why she isn't. Why? Did something happen?"

"How was Emma today?"
"Her usual self. She did her work, answered when called on; nothing out of the ordinary. I wish I could get her to be more active in class but I understand why she isn't. Why? Did something happen?"
"I gave her the journal this morning David, its time, she was in my office again this morning! What do we do? I wish we could more to help her." *sigh* "Should I ask Ruby and Belle to keep watch?"
"Honey, relax. Take a breath; we'll figure this out."
"I was wondering when you'd pull it out. We both know she's been having a rough time as of late. I think she might be just as lost as us on what to do. As much as I wish we could and as much as we try, we can't protect her from everything, Snow. I think the best thing we can do is continue to be there.
"I'm sure they already are, but if it would help calm your nerves then you're more than welcome to. She'll be okay, Snow."
Emma needed fresh air to clear her head. She felt the walls of her home caving in around her, she was still grieving the loss of her parents, and it didn’t help that ladies her age judged her harshly for not holding to their opinions. And then there was the thought of Mr. Cassidy and-- Oh! I’m tired of this! She was so lost in thought that she didn’t realize she had ran into Snow White. “I’m so sorry!” Emma took a step back for she was nervous what her reaction was going to be. She had heard rumors that despite the name matching something so lovely, Snow was quite a cold-hearted woman. “Are you alright? I’m sorry... I had a lot on my mind and wasn’t paying attention.”

Emma often had the thought of wanting to finish her education at another school. It was challenging to have not one but two parents at Hogwarts as professors and believing they were strict on her. However, it was the bullying she faced almost daily that made her want to be elsewhere, and she was tired of letting Tamara get to her. Emma didn’t believe that blood status mattered for Muggles were just like pure-bloods, but people like Tamara always gave her a hard time for being a half-blood. This one particular afternoon after lunch was the last straw for her. With so much rage coursing through her veins, Emma approached Tamara only for the two to duel outside of school time, which was a one-way ticket straight to her mother’s office. She sighed, walking into the office with her arms crossed, and giving her mother a disapproving gaze. “You wanted to see me? Can this be quick? I have another class to get to.”

Exciting was one word for it... Henry was a great kid and she was happy to get to know him, but she never thought she would see the son she gave up for his best chance. It was more of a shock than excitement in the beginning when he knocked on her front door. “It’s nice to meet you, Mary Margaret. I’m Emma. Emma Swan... but I think you already figured that out.” Small talk wasn’t her strong suit. “Is... Henry a good student?”

"Everything packed and ready for the long drive?"
David glanced over at Snow wearing an amused smile. "Just as ready as we were fifteenimutes ago." A small chuckle escaped him as he pressed a kiss to her forehead. "We're all set, no need to worry."
"You have to them the truth Emma, that their dad doesn't want them. Its not fair to give false hope." ( Ep 9 True North)
Emma sighed, nodding. "I know it's not fair to give false hope... but I can't just let them go into the foster system. I can't let them be separated and face the foster system alone. I was in the system and I know what's it like. No child should have to go through that."
“I don’t know how but there’s something. You’re being set up and once I can prove that, you’ll be free to live your life here and start with a clear conscience.” Emma sighed. “I get that you want to run away, but if you do that, it will look like that you did kill Kathryn. Regina will get exactly what she wants. Do you really want that? I’m not going to give up, are you? You’re my family, alright? I’m the type that doesn’t get close to anyone, but you’re family to me here and I won’t let Regina get what she wants.” She still didn’t understand why Regina seemed to have it in for Mary Margaret.
