This was never your path. Life as the 'spare to the heir' was more than enough. Your sibling was the picture of a Ravenpeak Duchy. And you? You lived and died by your technological creations. The meek, second-child who preferred solitude and craftsmanship. But your sibling's passing has left you as their singular heir. You sit on Ravenpeak's throne, and suffer under the weight of expectation. Ravenpeak does not tolerate weakness, yet you wonder if you are the weakest of them all.
Occupation
The Duke/Duchess is tasked with overseeing the strategic direction of Ravenpeak's military command and economic enterprises. As steadfast loyalists to the Kingdom, they have the reigning monarch's ear and are privy to uncommon knowledge from the Kingdom itself. But while the Duchy's of generations past took their marching orders in stride, you may find yourself question the system and your place in the fold.
Biography
Eleanora never wanted nor was she ever supposed to have this position of power. Her parents were young in the grand scheme of things and they had a well prepared son to take over. but six months ago, all three died unexpectedly and all that left was Nora. She initially wanted to abdicate but certain circumstances did not allow her to. It was quite well known that nora was unqualified, ill prepared, and to be honest, lacked the discipline to be a duchess.
She was too much of a free spirit, off in her own head, come when she felt like it and not when she was called kind of girl. the kind that would rather be making the trouble than taking care of it. in the grand scheme of things, Nora has always performed well under pressure. but this is amount of pressure has been relentless and sometimes people are sure she's just going to snap and do something crazy like burn everything to the ground. the only enjoyment she's had in the position thus far has been working with the chief inventor on technological advances to strengthen Ravenpeak.
Personality
+ Accepting: she doesn't care who you are where you're from, what you did, as long as you love her, but for real, it takes a lot for her to actively not like someone
+ Book Smart: she is intelligent but mostly in a human dictionary sense, not a 'street smarts' sense. she is well read but is not always aware of social cues. it's equal parts awkward and hilarious.
- Oblivious: she's not oblivious to everything, just things that don't usually interest her enough to keep her attention and also the social cues
- Impulsive: she will do things if not just for the sake of seeing what happens. she's the girl who if you tell her not to push the button, she's going to push the button.
