I can’t think of an instance on Val.  Lian, however, lost his shit when the group’s wild mage went from a healthy 5′4″ to 4′3″.  And turned blue.  And furry.  Loretta was NOT happy with him for awhile.

He’s since learned to tone down his initial response.

I love this song and as much as it pains me to listen to it, it’s the bittersweet memories I have of my grandparents before their Alzheimer’s.

Yes, BOTH my grandmother and grandfather got it. The memories of them and the happiness they shared with each other and our family is what makes this song so vibrant in my mind.

My grandfather also had the talent of picking up an instrument and playing it. The piano, the guitar, the banjo - you name it.

Remington has not been exempt from these desires from time to time: The desire for normalcy, the desire to live a safe and happy existence in her homelands.

But that dream is long gone, made an impossibility. And if Remington was met with the choice to go back to being Human, to return to the living, she wouldn’t.
