Charles looked up at Raven as she leaned on him. He placed his hand on her shoulder. "Is everything alright, Raven?" His eyebrows furrowed with worry. There wasn't that much support he could give from his wheelchair but he wanted to try as much as he could.

“Raven... I can fly.” He was a little breathless as he landed in front of her. He couldn’t help but have fun with it. He had never been able to do this before. Anything like this. He was worried it was temporary. The peace in his head, the quiet and the freedom of his movement. It was like a dream. “And no voices. It’s so quiet in my head.”

“So...” Charles sat down on the couch across from her in his living room. “Jean let me look into her mind. I saw everything.” It was a lot to take in. “I saw how I failed all of you. Most of all you and her. I am sorry...” All he felt was guilt. That it was his fault that she died. He tried to stop Jean’s memories instead of helping her through them.

Charles was the worst patient. Luckily Raven knew him well enough that she could keep him from doing too much but he was still planning the school, he couldn't remain sat too much or he'd go mad with the voices in his head. He needed to keep himself busy.

It was chaos. Everywhere he looked. Creatures but he couldn’t hear a lot of the people he should in his head. They were just gone. His head was pounding with the fear of everyone else left. Jean. Raven. Erik. The list went on of people he needed to find. 

Anyone. If you can hear me. 

He sent his thoughts out there to try and connect with anyone he know. The voices missing worried him. How could they just disappear? As he was focusing on sending that message as far as it would reach. He just ducked in time as a dragon flew over head. He looked up eyes wide. “What the hell...” He mumbled, eyes wide as he watched it fly towards a building. Looking over to his right to see some  emaciated physique, spider-like limbs and tattered pale skin spider like being charging at him. 

Using his powers he was able paralyze the monster. Just after it fell he recognized Raven not too far away. “Raven! Thank goodness!” He ran towards her, past the paralyzed monster. “Are you alright? Are you hurt?”
