I have to ask, how much about space do you really know? I never really thought about the vast place, to busy having an existential crisis x)
oh my god im so glad you asked so ok listeni know A LOT about space. im not kidding or exaggerating, i really do. i remember 4-5 year old me, sitting on the couch and going thru a large encyclopaedia about physics and astronomy. it was in russian which isn’t my native language but it’s pretty similar to bulgarian and thankfully, my parents were always ready to help me with the translation! i remember it all: being fascinated by the amazing photos and concept art, thinking how weird and incredible these planets, stars, and galaxies are. i remember painting them, talking about them to our neighbours and friends all the time and wishing to be an astronaut when i grow up. later, when i was 10 or 11, i remember being excited every time there was a documentary about space on tv. i remember reading a book about the constellations and trying to redraw and imagine them just like ppl from ancient greece did. i remember my frustration at the fact that the sky view from our flat isn’t the best. i remember being terrified of the fact that black holes exist, that one day the Sun will die, and the Milky Way and Andromeda will collide. i remember way too many things and i will never be able to exlain how much i am actually in love with space and everything related to it. it’s beyond my comprehension. so yeah i hope this didn’t annoy you to death or made you think that im a pretentious “ms know it all”, im not, im still that smol enthusiastic kid that can’t sleep at night bc of all these thoughts
