I find it so funny that my fanon Naofumi specifically just in the axe hero au has dragon qualities while my oc love interest for him has bird qualities and in the lore of ROTSH filolial and dragons absolutely don't get along and hate eachother like that was unintentional but omg that's funny

But if you do look at Elijah, he is the exact opposite to Naofumi, I mean his main colors are reds and pinks and has a very not so tanky fit unlike Nao. If Eli was d&d his design makes him look like a rogue, actually how he fights is similar to a barbarian he also weilds magic from some ancient entity so that would make him a warlock but I'm getting ahead of myself here.

Anyways just love how complete opposites they are and they don't necessarily even "complete" the other they just make eachother want to be better. Eli with his inner hatred/ anger/grief for himself and succumbing to the raven (which is symbolized with ice/the cold) and Naofumi with his hatred for the world and succumbing to the flames of that hatred and him melting away Elijah's pain while Naofumi's is calmed by Eli

If I ever write ROTAH to the point where their relationship gets explored it is most definitely going to be a very tug-pull sorta thing with how distrustful Naofumi is (esp of people from the time he got betrayed) and how Eli doesn't trust himself not to hurt someone he loves

Just hmmm mmmm tasty parraells of one another and them having a healthy relationship based on trust and saving one another from their certain doom without even expecting anything in return.
