Oh hey, I have another question. What if a prompt from one of my squares becomes an idea for a series after the Bingo is done and I want to explore it further after I've written the piece for BBB. I have an idea that has me temporarily obsessed right now. If it was a burning building, it would be a five-alarm fire call. Anyway, is there a moratorium on when I can add other stories into the universe I've created?
You can do whatever you want with it! You can even add a new chapter to an existing fanfic, if it fits a square from your bingo.
This is from my new WIP which is for @supersoldiersruined-me and her 100 follower challenge:
They find a secluded spot between a couple Humvees and take a few moments just for themselves. “You need to quit being so reckless.” It was Bucky who broke the silence, his knuckles white from their unrelenting grip around his cup. “You're gonna get yourself fucking killed.”
This WIP is called We Looked Like Giants and is currently open in my docs RIGHT NOW ;)
send me a word and if it’s in a WIP I’ll post the sentence/paragraph it’s in
When it comes to crisps, like apple crisps, I'm forever trying to figure out what makes the best topping for it. I think I've sorted it out but I was wondering if you have a favourite crisp recipe with a really good crumbly topping.
regardless of what fruit i use i always top crisps with
¾ cup old-fashioned oats
¾ cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
½ cup cold (!!!!!) butter
mashed together with a fork
and my favorite is blueberry (recipe under the cut)
4 cups fresh blueberries (or you can used frozen ones that have been defrosted and drained)
¾ cups sugar
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1 cup water
2-3 tablespoons lemon juice
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
directions:
preheat oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit, and grease 11x7 pan. (you can also use a 13x9 but it won’t be as high up the sides)
spread blueberries on the bottom of the pan
in a saucepan over medium heat, combine the sugar, cornstarch, water and lemon juice. cook and stir until thick and clear, then remove from heat add in the vanilla.
slowly pour over blueberries, gently stirring
in a small bowl, combine topping ingredients that are listed above and sprinkle over pan (doesn’t have to be perfect, there will be spots you miss!)
bake 30-35 minutes until the blueberry mixture is bubbling and top is golden brown and enjoy!
Hi. I was wondering about the 'Fusion' prompt. I think I know what that means but I wouldn't mind a little clarification on that. Thanks!
A fusion fic would be a crossover, where the characters of one fandom take the place of characters in another fandom. (For example, a Harry Potter AU, with MCU characters taking the place of the characters in the wizarding world.)
That said, if you have a different interpretation of your fusion prompt, feel free to run with it!
