Brain vs Heart Watercolour, ink, pencil crayon, and marker
I'm a little obsessed with drawing hearts. I enjoy what they symbolize. I like how the heart pumps oxygenated blood to the whole body. Allowing all your liddo microparts to survive. I like how it works on a rhythm. Bhum.. bhum.. bhum. It works to music, basically. I like that its a symbol of love & I like that you cant spell heart without "art". Because love is an art. It takes practice & patience & sacrifice. Not just romanic love. Love in general. I like that its inside everyone but sometimes we forget. Sometimes we see or hear breathing but we forget the source. Sometimes it slips out of our minds, that when this stops, we stop. Or when we stop, the heart does too. I like that it reminds us of our fragility. Emotional & physical. I like that it responds to emotions. Surprise! Fast heart. Shock! Skips a beat. Sad heart? Slow and steady. Heavy. I like that when you create art, theres always heart in it too. Combination of ink, watercolours & pencil crazyons. Done on a white box my friend gave me. Yay boxes. Heart box.
