Painfully underrated Death Note panel
His ass does NOT have a piloting license! (just ignore whatever Watari is doing)
this frame made me laugh SO hard
right after such a touching scene too
spy x family is the best thing i've watched in a long time
anya's pose specifically
I really thought Cosmic Princess Kaguya wouldn't be my cup of tea at all at first since in general I don't like anime about music and am also not really a fan of the "video game world" thing, and I also still don't really get the V-tuber thing. I believed that was what it was going to be about at first. And then it quickly revealed it was so much more than that. I was the fool. I was hooked. It was a wonderful movie! The synopsis was right, "This is the tale of Princess Kaguya as never seen before." ;_;
Also Hatsune Miku jumpscare?! I had not heard that song since I started middle school(2010!) and Instantly recognized it WHAT!! Flew out of my chair! Sleeper cell Activated!
I've started reading Hellsing. There's something incredibly endearing about how every character is just the coolest motherfucker on planet goddamn earth, if viewed from an early 2000's lens. The art is also so wonderfully "strange" in a way I don't think I've seen from any recent manga, it's really got some spirit in it!
I really adore the way they animated Frieren's tantrum it's hilarious! I've not had such a good laugh in a long while! Skipped back to watch it again like five times. Even went through it frame by frame to catch everything. She jumps off the closet and hurts her ankle. She's sobbing inside the closet. The sob as she pulls the blanket over her head and it immediately gets soaked in her tears. They clearly had a lot of fun with that scene. It's just 30 seconds of her pitching an absolute fit. Completely childish. I love it! And obviously it would not be nearly as great if not for the phenomenal voice acting that truly sells the "distraught child did not get a lollipop at the store" rage.
Honestly the best piece of animation of the year and it's barely February. Nothing will top this.
Listening to the songs from One Piece Film Red and Ado's singing as Uta is so fucking good. LOVE how her voice breaks during the chorus(especially after the modulation) on Backlight!
So I've listened to more of her music and she has that raw scream just locked and loaded and unleashes it to great effect. It gives me shivers every time! RuLe is another song of hers that showcases it! And outside of that she's got such a wide range in how she projects her voice it's really fun to listen to! She's not scared to get weird with it
I'm having a blast reading Vampire Knight, I watched the anime waaaay back in 2010 I think and it's never fully left my mind honestly!
I thought I wouldn't remember much of the anime, but having just finished Vol. 7 I am very certain the anime went in a different direction to the manga. Which is also just exciting, I get to rediscover and enjoy the story in a very different way!
Either way I'm definitely watching the anime again after I've finished reading. I want to compare the two!
And I'm having a similar experience as when I recently read Hellsing; I am just enamoured by the unique artistic expressions of the artists! It's wonderful! And the additional information added in the end of the manga volumes explaining the meanings of most of the names of the characters is fun to have in the back of the mind as I'm reading!
