Archimedes was mainly a ward she simply passed through rather than lingered in. Café Pandora was a usual stop each time she did, taking the edge off of an appetite built up by her long and meandering walks. She didn’t need to look for food as much as she did information. It wasn’t that fun of a way to think, but when she was alone no one could tell her to lighten up.
The Star Trail gathered all sorts of forms and faces, so Setsuna often passed through that crowded street afterward. She walked through with a leisurely step, gaze passing over both food and people. She wasn’t desperate to find something, especially when she didn’t know what would solve her problem in the first place. There was a chance her eyes would fall on it and she would know, and that was enough for now.
What they found turned out to be more of a question than an answer. Setsuna stopped in place, blank expression shifting to surprise. She knew that style and those hair accessories, even if she couldn’t see the girl’s face.
It wasn’t worth overthinking it and losing sight of her. Setsuna picked up her feet, swiftly slipping between the people passing around her. Love still had her back turned when she reached her, but she was there, more solid than a brief hallucination of someone close to her in this isolated world.
“Love,” Setsuna began, a quiet, teasing admonishment in her voice. When she leaned more into view, she could see the food Love already had with her. “Are you having a good vacation?”
