Danny as an Artist: Notes

So I've been sitting on these but haven't figured out a way to work with them yet. But it's been a while so I thought I would share what I have and maybe something will spawn later? *shrugs*

These are *very* unstructured, raw, unedited notes. It's basically a collection of some of the thoughts I had about this idea when I was writing it. First set was from before part 4. Next set was between part 4 and 5

Once he's good enough his paintings will be able to fold time and space and become portals of what is shown

Eventually he'll be at to layer them so the portal is in disguise

Space core!

Still space obsessed and now doing it as art but will

Space core allows him to fold and manipulate space

Paintings are wormholes - semi-perminant portals

Can make those portals work for specific ppl only

Will eventually be able to manipulate space around him, redirecting movement consciously

Currently redirecting space and attention around him as he works *unconsciously* to give more more uninterrupted time and to keep people from finding his murals until he's ready

Could theoretically trap people in little bubbles/boxes of redirected space

Friends with Johnny, kitty, and ember. Tolerates Youngblood

Finds technus annoying

Hasn't met spectra but would hate her

Johnny had been biking when he first saw him, felt the pull, thought it was another one to have fun - ignore

Johnny walking,  sees kid walking and start to fall through ground - panicked

Johnny pulls kid up, realized New ghost , no clue, death=raw?

Cracks joke, offers help

Start to meet up (park? Warehouse? Woods? Old lot?)

Weekly? Helps with powers

Brings kitty

Kitty also helps

Ember stumbles into meeting (looking for kitty?) Adopts danny as little brother of sorts?

Time passes - ember likes him, rants about skulker, brags to kitty about getting danny protected (brief mention of spectra? Shudders?)

Work

I woke up this way, last couple of days have been like this, the monster hounding me again. Reminding me of all the time wasted chasing hopes and dreams, trying to make the world nicer for the tragically lost. Nothing left to do except to look back at this defeat, come inside, and pack it up. 

Circular thinking myself back into another rut about how things were suppose to be different here but never got the chance to take off with it. I was waiting so patiently as a good teammate should waiting for the chance for coach to put me in, but morale was shaky from the get go, and then when I was finally called it was too late, disaster and corruption had set in, egos hurt, competencies questioned. I shook when things got too heavy, retreated into my head-space, working to rationalize the poor will and stubbornness of all other parties and stayed out of it, sat like that for a long time, wondering what to do. Too long, but figured I wait long enough, I'd weather past the storm, which I did. Well I thought I did, but what came was the fallout, the damage had already been done and lots of it was taking placed elsewhere anyways. Another lesson in naivety. When things got clear, this was another dead end.  

I drag myself over here and tell another kid we haven't seen in awhile (months) that his small, fragile support system will be getting smaller. Like others who had worked hard to reap the benefits of program, he was disappointed hearing the news. I told him that if he keeps doing what he's doing, he'll be fine. God I hope so.

Clipped

I'm following through on something else I was certain I'd do when the time came, clipping my wings. 

The one thing I knew for certain about fatherhood was that is was going to be fun, at least some of it had to be. My happiest memories of my own childhood was wrestling with my dad. No matter how frustrated and angry I am with him, no matter how much emotional or physical harm he brought during his drunken rages, it's these I return to in order to redeem him as only human. He gave us his best, which what I'm trying to do now. 

I love getting them excited and putting on the whole show that little them has the power of David to take down my Goliath. They do, they have my heart, all of me will go to them. Everything I got. I love making them laugh, the little giggles and the big ones, deep chuckles and quick snickers. My jokes are terrible. Terrible dad jokes that they just eat up, giving me confidence in life. 

And I'm still a rookie at this, just celebrated five unbelievably fast years, I can barely keep up with quick the seasons change. They are my pride and joy, I will be forever grateful of their blessing. I knew conceptually of the enormous responsibility the endeavor would be seeing how it seriously strained the adults who would chip in to raise me. I'm holding it right now, the weight of their lives. What is the best for them short term, long term? Why is our country so segregated and why do we neglect our public education system? Will my daughter be safe from the worst of patriarchy, am I already doing her wrong? Can I raise my son to be a good man. 

The ability to make life is something I think we take for granted, so casually natural, so easy to get caught up in the lust of fucking. But it's our super power and the greatest way to immortalize our human hope that the sun will rise on a new day. If abused or neglected, however, you add to the dark that plagues this world. So I do not take this decision lightly, I am praying for them.

Raw Notes

White Aromatics- Sauvignon blanc , reisling, hereitimer Fruits Full body? It was full body compared to other whites Light body? Compared to reds Body of wine is subjective To describe full body, it's like drinking a big glass of orange juice. Acidity Low in acid, drink cold and young High acid, drink room tperrure, longer older time Non aromatics You cannot smell sweetness, u can only taste it. You can smell fruits and make the assumption that it will be sweet. Rose Smells like strawberries It can be earthy or fruity Reds 2012smell: earthy, mossy, leathery, smells like dead animals Taste: fruit forward taste, berries 2010- softer tannins because of age, lighter tannins Espresso- tannins, bitterness Never judge your pallet by your first taste, because your pallets are still adjusting. California Cabernets are high in demand therefore cost a lot Champagne from France cost a lot because they are high in demand Instead get: cava or procecco French burgundy is also high in demand therefore cost a Lott. For party finger food, try French Pinot Grigio

My Baby- 'The Facility: Liberty Revoked'

This is my concept that's been on the back-burner for about a year. It's a game concept that I've been making notes about whenever I can for almost all of that time, and I found this in my files; it's the very first set of notes I typed up about the concept. 

Thought some of you might like to see it.

Keep in mind, I totally understand why people may not like this, and these are the very raw notes for it- I have now typed up almost 100 scripted cutscenes/incidences for the player to encounter throughout the facility, building up what is turning out to be a vast storyline.

Facility: Liberty Revoked Summary: _Wake up in a huge underground facility, dark and seemingly abandoned at first. _Upon exploration, it turns out the facility is not abandoned, just forgotten. It was originally an underground prison- used to hold vast numbers of criminals. The facility has been long since forgotten, the prisoners taking over sections, creating gangs which have expanded to factions over the years. _The objective of the game overall is to get out of the facility via a huge bunker-style portcullis- the only exit. It is extremely heavily guarded, however, and only gaining allies and armaments through the game will make this possible for the player. _The player has to use improvised weaponry constructed from the things around them. Only 2/3 weapons throughout, using many found objects such as iron bars or lead pipes in an improvised crossbow, for instance. _No instructions are given to the player, like Amnesia: Dark Descent. The player has to work out what to do via exploration and experimentation _The player encounters the factions throughout as either an enemy, or potential ally. Gaining these allies will help when trying to escape, or give the player valuable assets, such as sanctuary (save points) or weaponry/'true' ammunition _Some of the factions are 'untouchables'- those that the other factions never fight with, because they help them survive and provide services e.g The Artificers- a group of those with engineering knowledge who create objects for others, in return for a trade or favour _The game would give a truly new experience- a DIFFICULT shooter. The player doesn't have every victory handed to them, and are given as little assistance as possible. They explore, and find things they need, finding objectives, enemies and secrets along the way. They are no super-soldier, no hero, no-one special; just unfortunate. _This would also be EASIER to make in a number of ways. Improvised weaponry means no gun sounds needed, textures can be gained easily, there will be less scripted animations to do and lastly: there aren't 100 small environments to model and texture- just ONE huge one with variety from faction's areas.
