How to make chocolate out of blended fruits.
Hey yo! Today I accidentally made some chocolate sauce with my Vitamix out of a bunch of bananas, spinach and some frozen berries. Yass, crazy right but it just looks like melted creamy chocolate and taste just as rich as the real ones.
I love chocolate because of the memories it brings up to me: Christmas, Childhood, Valentine, these memories are the only reasons I still like the feeling of chocolate. I am not a big fan of the taste of it. I know it can be addictive but really not essential in our diet. Nevertheless recognizing why you crave something sometimes can be very helpful especially when you are trying to fight against your craving for certain food.
So that’s just some inspirations I got from the chocolate looking smoothie, it reminds me of chocolate and I felt just as satisfied or even more than eating the actual chocolate. I hope it gives you some inspirations as well. Understanding why you crave something mentally is very important when you are trying to build a good relationship with food.
BTW, add some cacao powder to the smoothie to make it taste more like chocolate if you like, haha, just experiment !
And one more important thing: never feel guilty about what you eat!
