halidom  abuzz  with  excitement  ,   she  cannot  help  but  look  on  with  fondness  .   this  years  has  been  one  laden  with  pleasant  surprises  ,   from  meeting  simurgh  to  the  elders’  acceptance   (   though  reluctant   )   of  the  humans’  participation  in  sylvan  traditions  .   as  much  as  eleonora  enjoys  the  vernal  banquet  ,   her  participation  this  year  has  been  limited  ,   far  too  much  time  spent  off  to  the  side  ,   lost  in  thought  .

her  new  home  provides  little  reprieve  from  her  own  mind  ,   though  bright  hues  of  white  and  red  catch  her  eye  from  the  gaps  between  rawn’s  fingers  as  he  wanders  in  her  direction  ,   beaming  bright  enough  to  outshine  the  sun  --   a  distraction  ,   right  about  now  ,   would  be  more  than  welcome  .    “    oh  ,   rawn  --   is  that  a  papier - mâché ornament  ?   i  take  it  you  enjoyed  the  event  ,   then  ?    “

                 Rawn would understand what it was he was getting at, right? It was by a simple stroke of good fortune that Euden had gone and managed to bring so many people with such a varied set of talents to the halidom, and another stroke further that the halidom was located so close to the library obscura. Otherwise finding someone like Rawn would have been a hunt in and of itself.

it’s always a surprise to hear someone say that i’m ‘nice’, but it’s certainly a pleasant one! i fret that i tend to come across as uh.. prickly, perhaps shdkf

oh, i’m really glad to hear that you feel comfortable with me! i never want anyone to feel uncomfortable and i sometimes worry i cross that unsaid boundary when i do stuff like send videos and talk for 2398423984234 years about my animals. i’ve never been particularly good at ooc talk ahaha..

aah thank you! the conveying of emotion is something i’m especially uh. underconfident? in how i write (as i fear my views on anger/sorrow/etc are skewered and don’t let me do it well as a result), so it’s actually Really Nice to hear that i’m decent at it ;;

i totally understand being afraid, but at the same time, rest assured that i’m not going to bite your head off or anything for talking to me, and you don’t have to have a rp blog to do it! 

i’m really, really glad that i can help make someone’s day a bit better w/ the Adventures i get up to on here. it’s no joke when i say that stuff like that is a big reason why i write in the first place.

Sunlight filters down from the trees, inadvertently revealing a doe. Now all he’d have to do was figure out a good route to sneak attack it from and he’d have caught dinner for himself and his new dad.

Something he’s been building up to as a way to measure his own progress with learning the art of swordsmanship.

Before he could take off on his hunt, though, Lance hears a rustling from behind.

Blue eyes slide off the well-lit scenery before him and into the shadows that currently housed the rustling sound, hands tightening on the sword’s hilt in case the source was in the mood of trying to eat him instead of the local wildlife.

“Who... Who goes there?”
