He was currently submerged under the water, it was the only true thing that felt welcoming. It felt like being hugged from all angles and he wanted to never leave this feeling as he clutched the memory close to his chest, the dragon ball. The one star. Floating under the water as he then faintly picked up on the sounds of muffled footsteps. Something was approaching. no someone, he could sense them now as he let out a slight huff. Before slowly rising to the top of the water surface, glancing around only to spot a very bewildered namekian? he believed them to be as he would look down at them, the eight foot tall god wondering what could have possibly brought the namekian here...of all places.

When she was around 18-19 years old. She had her first kiss with Goku, the man she saved herself for! It was a brief wedding peck on the lips.

Boisterous, confident, and absolutely certain that he had everything under control. That’s how he felt during what was sure to be attempt number 27 of Sugarplum trying to gut him.

Suvida had asked him if he could help watch Plum while she went out on a longer term mission in the Frieza ship rift. He wouldn’t have to stay long- just for the time between her getting done with her mentor lessons for the day until it was time for her to be put to bed. Now, the Majin in question didn’t really need to be watched over in the same sense as one might think of an Earthling child, but that didn’t stop Suvida from insisting.

“It’ll be good for her to get to know you better,” she said, “She’s a good kid,” she said.

Before long, what started as horribly mundane babysitting for a friend soon turned into an exciting opportunity to observe the little one’s body morphing and ki capabilities when Plum had- within the hour of the first day- morphed her arms into claws with the intention to rend him to shreds. The sheer power difference between the two made the morbid game of ‘tag’ an impossible one for the next few days, much to Plum’s chagrin and Fu’s entertainment.

He had everything under control, he was sure that she couldn’t, wouldn’t be able to hurt him, that he could uphold the facade that she and he were getting along just fine for Vivi’s sake. Everything was fine. Until it wasn’t.

Everything would have been fine if he hadn’t overlooked who her mentor was-

Everything would have been fine if he’d paid better attention to the presence of Suvida’s Ki, overshadowed by the sheer amount of God Ki from the technique Plum had decided to bring out from her repertoire.

Everything would have been fine if mortals were able to sense god Ki without having access to it first.

The realization of just how wrong he was in being so sure was as immediate as the Instant Severance. That, he dodged easily enough, though the same couldn’t be said for Suvida when she walked through the door, her body nearly bisected diagonal-wise across one shoulder to the opposite hip, having been caught completely off guard.

Snowy coughed as she wandered down the street, shivering from the cold. Who knew it would snow in the city? Her old, ragged cloak didn’t do much help of keeping her warm, but it was better than nothing.

As she wandered, she went pass a familiar building. Maybe they still lived there...

With slight hesitation, she walked up to the door, quietly knocked on it and patiently waited, still shivering. If no one answers, she could always find shelter elsewhere...

He sighs, raising one massive hand to scratch a claw against the side of his face for a moment.

“It’s.. difficult. You see, I-- don’t hate it, Taiko, but I also don’t require subservience of that sort from my people.

Even if I did, you’ve proven many times over that it still wouldn’t be necessary from you. I’ve offered you wishes before, and you haven’t taken up the offer. You’ve never even really tried to wish for anything. I could grant nearly anything to you... and the most you’ve asked of me is to spend time together.”

He actually laughs there, but it’s an amused one, not angry.

“I’ve been around for an unimaginable amount of time, Taiko, and yet I’ve never encountered a being quite like yourself. I don’t really know how to respond to some of the things you do. I’m.. not prepared to not know.”

He snorts; Talking for this long is bizarre for him.

“Did that make sense?”
