A Raw Rock Christmas IV: Christmas Business!
This year's Christmas album has officially been named, so new we need some album artwork! Artists/graphic designers/photographers/etc, please consider helping out. You're important to us! The artist of the winning album art will receive a free copy of the album on limited cd, as well as some other goodies.
As a refresher, here's the criteria for submissions:
What we need! Interested? We need some real cool Christmassy artwork, and of course, a ton of songs. All musicians are welcome!
Artists/graphic designers/photographers/painters/etc. You are important to us! We've looking for you to design something Christmassy or winterry for our artwork, including this year's title - Christmas Business. 1000x1000px preferred. This will be voted on by the community. Please email all submissions to me, do not post them online (as the voting process is supposed to be anonymous).
The winner will also be asked to help with creating liner notes for the album, as well as helping with the cd packaging and layout. This is not essential, you are not committing to this by submitting artwork. Christmas is a busy time and this is certainly a lot to ask, but any willingness here is much appreciated!
Musicians/bands/singers/poets/etc of all genres! Without you, there will be no album. Most of the album usually ends up being indie/folk kind of stuff, but over the past three albums, we've had some cool submissions: punk rock, electronic, poetry, anger music, etc.
Some of you may want to do more than one song, or may have multiple bands/projects you're in. This is totally cool. We don't want there to be too much by the same person, but I'll do my best. How I decide all this is usually determined by the total overall submissions. If you can't decide what to submit, send me everything you're considering, we can discuss and try to pick together.
Full infos can be seen here.
As always, you can email me anything (submissions, questions, cute hellos) to [email protected]. Thanks for always making A Raw Rock Christmas a success, and here's to a new one. PS. Please spread the word and use the hashtag #christmasbusiness because it's hilarious.
