I haven’t been making chocolates for quite some time… in fact, I think I didn’t make any this year at all. Since I started trying to be oil-free as much as possible, I stopped making chocolates. But my friends like eating chocolates sooo…. I decided to make some yesterday. Some raw vegan, some not. The first batch was a definite fail. So I made another batch. But I think that was too sweet. And I forgot to powder my @gulamelts. Eeks. I got the tempering right though, so it didn’t melt in Malaysian room temperature which is quite hot at around 84 Farenheit? Then I decided to play around with the white chocolate that I got from Benns Ethicoa and fill up the chocolates with my wild blueberry jam. That was quite nice actually. As I wasn’t fully satisfied with yesterday’s chocolates, I made more this morning. This batch I added @organicule maca powder, ginger powder and cacao nibs. It’s still not up to my standard though. Ah well, I guess I’m a bit rusty with my chocolate work, huh? Anyways, let’s see whether people like it or not. If they don’t… I wonder if I should keep on making chocolates or just stop?
