Hey! I was thinking about deleting my blog because writing takes so long and not even many people read what i write it just doesn't feel as rewarding as it did earlier because it's hard enough already for me to take out time ever since my college started... :(

Hmm I don’t think you should delete your blog even if you’re not writing now. Maybe in the future you’ll feel like writing again and you have the time do so, then you already have the platform to do so.

Regarding the audience, well..... you remade this blog, right? That means you most like have only a small amount of audience right now. Not a lot of people have associated your blog with, say, BTS fics yet. And that’s okay. That’s something that will change gradually over time as long as you have your contents up and correctly tagged. Yes, it will take a lot of time, and no, it’s not instant. Especially since readers usually find new fics first, which means if you’re not updating then your works might get buried.

I used to wait on the platforms I write on after I posted something, waiting for that audience engagement. View counts, likes, comments, etc..... It does feel rewarding to see them, right? But there were times (a lot and most of them, in fact) when I didn’t get what I expected. It felt crushing for sure. I also gave up writing for a few years actually, which is why you can see the time gaps between the works in my MCU, BTS, and Misc masterlists. I then decided to not write for others, but for myself. I write because I like these characters, I like these people, I want to read and write about them, and maybe share it with other people. After that I just don’t really give too much thoughts for notes and comments.

That being said, I still encourage people to always reblog fics they read because it will help the writer’s blog! One of the reasons your engagement is low is definitely due to the lack of reblogging and sharing. Another thing I like to do is reblogging my own work but also re-adding the tags! It helps “renewing” your post, so to speak.

So rather than deleting completely, maybe just take a step back and get some time off for a while? You owe nothing to anyone, including your readers or your soon-to-be readers, so leaving your unfinished story out there isn’t a problem at all.

This is just my opinion on the matter, of course. It’s also okay if you don’t feel like writing or you don’t want your work here anymore. It’s all your choice.

Raymond loves Halloween so there isn't much around this time of year or in general that really scares him. He does get how you can be easily scared and won't hold anything against you!

There can be a lot of scary things around this time of year so he totally gets it. He does his best to keep scary things away from you or steer you clear of anything that could spook you.

He's always there for you too if you need someone to duck into to avoid something scary. He could honestly care less- you feeling comfortable is his top priority!

Although he loves the spookiness of the season, he will totally find other activities and things you can do that are on the less scary side. There's ways to be festive that don't involve scares!
