honestly i kinda think it's funny how you just KNOW this hack is gonna make tumblr users hate ray bans sunglasses.

like.. we see an ad, especially a potentially malicious one, and think; nope. not ever gonna buy that now just because you advertised it to me.

I’ve seen some mutuals of mine post about some ray bans charity thing and it has a suspicious link. A tagless post with a ominous link. This is 2020. Everyone tags their post with something. So, If anyone gets mentioned/tagged in these posts. Please do not click the link. It’s a scam and ya’ will be hacked.

I found a posts by @moonflowero1 on what to do if you’re hacked so I’m just gonna copy and paste.

Check to see if your hacker’s session is still open! You have to do this via the website: go to “settings,” then “account.” Scroll to the bottom and close the session that’s out of place (it should show an unusual location and/or device)

Go to the “linked apps” tab that should be on the right! This is important! These hackers have linked an app to your account - the one I got was called “Thunderclap”. Remove it.

Go back to your account settings - the page where the open sessions were. Change your password to something entirely different and strong.

Turn on two-factor authentication - it’s a pain in the butt but worth the safety from hackers.

Delete any of the hacker posts that got slapped onto your account by the hacker. Check your queue as well! I found a bunch there, it was ridiculous.

Ray Bans Hack

Hey everyone!

I just wanted to say sorry if you got tagged in a Ray Bans post from my blog. I was hacked earlier today, but I think I have it fixed now. It seems like they created posts for my queue as well, so if you happen to get hacked definitely check that as well.

A huge thank you to @xidaer, @blooberryspicehead, and @canibecandid for pointing out the hack to me! Believe me, y’all, I don’t do posts like that.
