Truthfully, you hadn’t been thinking much of it when you added the song to your playlist. You like pop music for cleaning, and it’s a bop. What’s not to love?
“You don’t get it,” Jeongin complains, covering his face dramatically with his hands. Crumpled in his chair, he’s an artistic picture of agony — though the effect is lessened somewhat by the apron. And the bandana holding back his hair. And the feather duster. “It’s just— It feels wrong to hear you sing those lyrics. They’re scumbag lyrics, noona! For scum!”
Still standing on top of the kitchen island, hands on your hips, you squint down at him skeptically. “Didn’t Binnie and Chan-oppa write them?”
Jeongin finally breaks character, smile wide across his sweet face. “You said it, not me.”
You could point out that he sung them first, anyway — that if anything, you’d been singing along to his line when he cried out like you shot him.
But he’s pretty cute, so you guess you can let it go.
