Kareem Muhammad squares off with Tommy Wright on Championship Wrestling from Florida in the summer of 1983! Formerly known as Ray Candy, Kareem was one half of the Zambuie Express tag team that terrorized the Florida territory for a spell during the early '80s. They were originally called the Zimbabwe Express to capitalize on the headline-grabbing conclusion of the Rhodesian Bush War. Amusingly enough, the name changed when wrestlers like Blackjack Mulligan were unable to pronounce 'Zimbabwe'! Although that probably diminished the ominous vibe that was intended, no way would you want to meet Muhammad or Akeem in a dark alley! As a matter of fact, Mulligan is on hand to witness the beating! Kevin Sullivan manages the Express and he is at ringside too! Note that the ring announcer can properly pronounce where Mr. Muhammad is from! The big man destroys Tommy Wright in short order, laughing sadistically as he drops a pair of falling headbutts on his opponent prior to the 1-2-3! Elijah Akeem strides over to the commentary desk with some harsh words for one Blackjack Mulligan! No, none of those words have anything to do with Mulligan's pronunciation skills! The Express attacked Blackjack last week and whipped him like a dog! Mulligan was upset at having to watch the film recapping the event! Elijah couldn't care less how the big Texan feels! Mr. Akeem and Mr. Muhammad have spent their entire lives being victimized by people like Mulligan, but things are going to change! The Zambuie Express does things their way whether anyone else likes it or not! Akeem dares Blackjack to do something about it, which kicks off a brawl between the two! Muhammad and Kevin Sullivan join the fray! Out comes Dusty Rhodes to help Mulligan out, but Akeem and Sullivan pounce on him! Just when the terrible trio is about to whip Mulligan with a belt, the bloody Dream charges in and helps his fellow Texan clear the ring! However, it is safe to say that the Zambuie Express will continue to make their point in as brutal of a fashion as possible!
