“Skies of Fire”

At New York Comic Con last week, I picked up a graphic novel called “Skies of Fire”, funded on this (now closed) Kickstarter and published by Mythopoeia. It’s a “dieselpunk airship story of loyalty and revenge” which “follows the story of Captain Helen Pierce as she chases the notorious raider Delmonte through the endless storm known as the Expanse“.

“Skies of Fire” was created and written by Vincenzo Ferriero and Ray Chou (the latter of whom I met, and chatted with, about Dieselpunk FlimFlam among other things) and illustrated by Pablo Peppino (pencils and inks) and Bryan Valenza (colors). It’s superb in all respects, and I couldn’t recommend it more highly. Here are a few glimpses:
