I think, in the end, the most concise way to describe Hades 2 writing is that it was approached with incredible incuriosity towards culture, lore and the relationship between gods and mortals. And more so than that, it is scared of complexity. It is scared of even looking at the status quo. It's a writing that lets you peek under the veil of simplicity and catch a glimpse of how not black&white the world is and then pulls the wool back over your eyes and says "but you don't need to think about all of that. Everything is simple in our case. These are bad guys, we are good guys, and the people beneath us don't matter as long as they stay under out heel"
