There are two types of romance in Lance's opinion. There was the sickly sweet love that his cousin Allura has with her boyfriend Shiro and then there is the intoxicating fall that you don't realize is love until you're in too deep. Neither of these applies to Lance as he is happy enough as he is with his singledom and his rivalry with Keith, the younger brother of Shiro and his unfortunate partner in every science assessment for the past five years. Lance sees no need for change his Facebook relationship status any time soon as he's yet to find someone worthy of his godlike self. To everyone else, however, this needed to change and it was their job to play Cupid between two stubborn boys with a large amount of awkward sexual tension.
