got back into rayman legends. her hair rteminded me of freeform locs. so i had to. very fun to draw. also in one of them i gave her straps bc there is no way that top is staying on without any sorta support. but i digress. enjoy

🍽️🌧️where rayman tries to set up a picnic for him and reader but then it rains and he’s oanicking trying to find out what to do i guess? Or he could be disappointed? I feel like it would be a great opprotunity for reader to try and make him feel better that things didnt go as planned

Picnic Panic (Rayman x Reader)

The weather was absolutely beautiful. Everything felt perfect: warm sun, lums singing their song, teensies going about their day... life was good. Rayman decided to take advantage of this by planning a picnic for him and (Y/N).

Rayman hummed to himself as he prepared a basket full of goodies: sandwiches, chips, fruits, water bottles, and cookies. (Y/N) walked over and smiled. "Whatcha doin'?"

Rayman looked up at them. "I thought since today is a nice day, we could have a picnic." He smiled and petted their head.

(Y/N) blushed. "That's so thoughtful of you. You really don't have to do that."

Rayman cupped their face with his hands. "But I want to. You mean the world to me, and I want to show that." With that, he kissed their head and grabbed the basket. "Now c'mon. We can eat by the Snoring Tree."

(Y/N) followed behind, their cheeks a bright pink from the kiss. Rayman set up the blanket and put the food out. Just then, it started to rain. Rayman's face dropped as the food got wet from the rain.

"NOOOO!" He cried out, hurriedly grabbing the food and putting back in the basket. "Nonononono! Dammit! It's all wet! It just had to rain today, didn't it?!" He picked up the blanket and squeezed the rain water out before turning to (Y/N). "I'm really sorry, (Y/N). I really thought that today would be a good day to have a picnic by the Snoring Tree. I screwed things up."

"Rayman, you didn't screw anything up." (Y/N) hugged him. "You did your best, and you can't control the weather. It's not your fault."

Rayman smiled and hugged back. "Thanks, (Y/N)." Then, he panicked as he saw ants crawling all over the food. "Oh no! Our food!"

(Y/N) sighed and patted Rayman's back. "I guess just let the ants have a giant feast. We can head over to that new cafe one of the teensies set up if you want."

Rayman smiled a bit. "Yeah, okay. That might be for the best."
