I love the "reunion" scene but imagine it was much more dramatic: Duncan is swearing and oaths to kill every single Tsang soldier, Seattle is trying to reach for their foster-father, but he hears neither of them. It was too late. It was all for nothing. Maybe something like that happenes if you can't do the decking stuff in time but I've never seen that Anyway, Ray's a great character, i love his story and every interaction with him, wish we've seen him more

Not that it particularly matters, because I can decide whatever I want for my character and go with whatever moves the plot the way I want it, but I spend a lot of brain power thinking about what the foster/adoption system looks like in Seattle

The funny answer is “Raymond just saw Janie and Duncan out on the street and just started legally saying they were family and nobody ever really bothered to check that”
