They are not a fool. They know full well that their Britain is wretched, and maybe ugly but even if it's just from a stranger that knows no better, they want to hear, even if it's just once, that their Britain is beautiful. Because they love Britain—their shining star that will burn them away.
(And maybe it was also because Morgan! Yuu may be a ruler, a tyrant, and a monster but they are also a parent, and compared to everyone in the twst cast they are all children to Yuu. So of course, of course they would not speak of a fairytale so horrid and scary. Of course they would not make these children worry when they already had so much in their plate.)
Morgan! Yuu who calls Grim their fairy knight (unsure which one but probably either Percival or Kay) and also maybe the rest of the first years. But there is no ceremony because Yuu knows it would be cruel of them to rip then from a life they are already happy and content with. (Because their round table consisted of monsters that wanted to be treated like a person's and of course Yuu gave that to them by taking them all under their rule, and the people here whom they see as knights of their own are already happy even without them taking them in, so why bother really?).
Everyone telling Yuu "we'll see if your Britain is as beautiful as you say it is, when we visit it." Not knowing that there will be no such event happening and Yuu who smiles and says "I look forward to it." Understanding they'll never actually get to hear those words.

Morgan!Yuu carving out the home and acceptance they had wanted to receive while in Faerie Britain and yet even still, they still think about their home—what it could've been.
And by doing so, they drop tidbits of their Britain, give their friends hope that the place they've hailed from isn't some burning hell hole begging to die. So they give their friends a wonderful dream to cover up the reality of it all.
I can't fucking move.
