who is grandpa semi? i read somewhere he was on the demo and that he is sans and papyrus grandfather. But i have never seen him on the demo....

Grandpa Semi is supposedly a character that was scrapped. He does not exist in the demo, nor is there any existing sprite of him in the game. However, there was a sound file called grandpasemi.ogg. People speculated that the name “semi” refers to a font, which is why there is speculation that he was related to the skeleton brothers. There is no proof that backs up this popular claim.
In version 1.001 of the game, grandpasemi.ogg was renamed to grandpatemi.ogg and used as the sound effect when Temmie is denied Temmie Flakes.
