Sometimes you think you can sleep in, but your kids are like, "nah". Vexa is a tired mom, but she still loves her kids.

The next batch of Hollow Knight characters. It’s Vexa the titan beetle and her lovely kids, Tormeh, Rileh, and Razp. Their story starts with them moving to Hallownest, in an attempt to escape Vexa’s wild past. They moved into one of the many vacant houses in Forgotten Crossroads post-Infection. She fixed the house up first, of course, though. She currently works in construction to help rebuild Hallownest and support her family. Now a bit about them.

Vexa

She's strong willed, independent, and protective of her kids. She comes off as gruff and is really blunt, but she is caring and would do anything for those she cares about.

She adores her kids. She tries her best to protect them, to teach them how to protect themselves, and to see that they're doing well.

She used to be a revered and feared warrior back in the day, but stopped that life shortly after the twins were born.

She works in construction now and basically fixed the entire house when they moved into Forgotten Crossroads.

She will teach nail arts if you ask.

Tormeh

The older one of the twins.

She has a bubbly and friendly personality.

She loves wrestling her sister, making new friends, cooking, and dancing

She wants to be a cook when she grows up.

She finds the Vessels to be a bit odd, but loves the fact that they're good playmates.

Rileh

The younger one of the twins.

She has a quiet and curious personality.

She loves wrestling with her sister, reading, exploring, and singing.

She wants to be a teacher when she grows up.

She finds the Vessel kids to be very interesting. She always tries to communicate with them and include them in her and her sister's games when they're around

Razp

He's just a baby boy

He likes being held, snuggling with his mom and sisters, watching his sisters roughhouse, and sleeping

His shell hasn't grown in yet, so Vexa is especially protective of him

Character Profiles: Bounty Hunters!

This is the seventh of an extended series of profiles for the characters of Jupiter Ascending. Since the film’s plot is quite involved and incorporates many double crosses and deceptions, I felt it would be helpful to set out what we know about the characters (back stories and roles in the film). Once all of the profiles are finished I’ll make a huge master poster with all of the character write-ups; it should make a handy guide for any aspiring fic writers out there!

Ibis (David Ajala) - One of the bounty hunters sent by Balem’s agent to kill Jupiter. He wears a leather outfit that leaves part of his chest exposed, and his skin has a slight glitter effect. Along with Razo and Falque, Ibis traces Jupiter's gene print to the fertility clinic, where he and his fellow bounty hunters get into a fight with Caine. After the fight, Ibis reveals to Razo that he has been contacted by an agent working for Kalique Abrasax and persuades her to team up with him and take Jupiter (alive) to Kalique for a better reward. After Jupiter and Caine escape to the country the bounty hunters track them down, ambushing them at Stinger's house. Ibis kills Falque in the cornfields before the latter can eliminate Jupiter, and he and Razo take Jupiter to Kalique's homeworld Cerise. They are rewarded with Regenex, and after tasting it to check that it's pure they take off with their reward in pursuit of a better life.

Razo (Doona Bae) - One of the bounty hunters sent by Balem’s agent to kill Jupiter. She has vivid blue/purple hair and flower tattoos on her face. Along with Ibis and Falque, Razo traces Jupiter's gene print to the fertility clinic, where she and her fellow bounty hunters get into a fight with Caine. She appears to be close to Ibis, and agrees to partner with him when they are offered a deal by Kalique that improves on the offer made by Balem. After Jupiter and Caine escape to the country the bounty hunters track them down, ambushing them at Stinger's house. In the cornfields, Razo uses her cloaked speeder to shoot down the creatures preparing to kill Jupiter; she looks on as Ibis kills Falque, and they kidnap Jupiter and take her to Kalique's homeworld Cerise. They are rewarded with Regenex, and after tasting it to check that it's pure they take off with their reward in pursuit of a better life.    

Falque (Spencer Wilding) - One of the bounty hunters sent by Balem’s agent to kill Jupiter. He wears an eye-patch and possesses a powerful gun capable of flattening terrain and knocking targets straight off their feet, stunning them. He, Ibis and Razo trace Jupiter's gene print to the fertility clinic, where they get into a fight with Caine. After Jupiter and Caine escape to the country the bounty hunters track them down, ambushing them at Stinger's house. Falque uses his gun on Jupiter in a chase through a cornfield, knocking her to the ground. Before he can kill her he is double-crossed by Ibis and Razo, who team up against him after accepting a superior offer from Kalique. He is shot dead by Ibis.
