The Claremont-Diaz family have been invited to Britain to participate in this year's upcoming social season, travelling all the way from DC. Prince Henry of Wales hates everything about the Royal Monarchy and is being forced to hide himself away from being who he really is and living out his worst nightmare as he unwillingly participates in this year's social season in order to find a wife, which is something he will never have any interest in what so ever. All of it is complete and utter shambles in his eyes. However, when his grandmother Queen Mary chooses Sir Alexander Claremont-Diaz as this year's incomparable diamond, his mind about the social season could be about to be changed as he finds himself wanting the crown's jewels....literally.

THERE ARE TOO MANY BIRD PUNS.
The last 3200 words have been written. The first 3600 words have been written. 1100 words inside the middle have been written. Still have an unknown count to go. JFC, why can’t I write anything short?
7, 8, 14 for the WIP asks!
7. What is your favorite scene you’ve written so far?
Thus far, from all my WIPs, my fave scene is when Alex meets Bea and Pez in my hockey fic. Here's a bit:
He clears his throat and gestures between them. “Alex, my sister Beatrice and my best mate, Percy Okonjo.” Percy offers his hand first. “Everyone calls me Pez. Like the sweets.” Alex grips his hand firmly. “Noted.” “It’s Bea,” she says when Alex turns to her and offers his hand. “Only our grandmother calls me Beatrice because the old hag hates everything to do with modernity, including nicknames. Anyway, Henry’s told us so much about you.” “Oh he has?” Alex grins wider, noticing the flush on Henry’s cheeks growing redder and coloring the tops of his ears. “He did you no justice at all, darling.” Pez grins roguishly. “That hurts, Henry.” Alex sighs, dramatically clutching at his heart. “Demons. The lot of you.” Henry sighs and glances upward.
8. What is the last scene you’ve written?
It's Alex and Henry in my RBB, at home after going out to dinner and starting the process of putting their marriage back together.
14. What have you been finding frustrating with writing this chapter/fic?
It's been really difficult/frustrating getting out of the angst/hurt headspace to get back into a happier headspace. And, in general, I get frustrated with myself when the words are there and I can't focus long enough to get them out. That's been happening a lot with this chapter.
Ask me about my WIPs
Then again, I'm pretty content right now, writing space adventures under the moon and stars on my balcony. It's finally cooled down enough for me to think coherently.
Anyone wish to keep me company enduring my terrible humour on skype?
