Grian design drafting for the silly bodyguard au!

Really not sure about the clothes 🤔 I did change the tail feathers into a more fantasy tail, and I do really like that so I think I'm keeping it. The clothes though idkkkk idk. It doesn't exactly have the vibe I want but I don't know what would. Plus working out clothes over the legs. Hougrrrghrgrrghrh

In lieu of any proper art from me here's my old initial doodles on my phone from when I first thought up the Bodyguard au for the gangg

Performative little rich boy Scar; stoic, hardened bodyguard Grian; and barely scraping by butler Mumbo

Extra info about this au! Mumbo was also initially the son of a rich family but, being the youngest, he was disowned and sold to Scar's family at the slightest altercation

In this case, being unfit as an heir due to displaying 'homosexual proclivities' at a young age

Scar's father was not told this, however. Simply that the boy was deemed unfit to heir and his mother was looking to sell him to anyone who thought he would be useful

When he and Mumbo's mother talk many years later down the line, they come to discover both their sons are gay, and agree upon an arranged marriage for them, so as to not appear publically bigoted, 'strengthen family ties', and send off their kids they don't like

So Mumbo is reinstated into the Jumbo family and the two are arranged married. And not comolaining ☝️

In this universe, avians are generally treated normally among the majority of the population, but for the rich, they're trophies or tools that are bought as property, illegally

Grian was raised in a flock, The Watcher flock, specifically designed to produce these types of avians, training them both to be a living weapon and to look and behave 'prettily' for whoever might end up buying them, depending on their want/need for them

When Scar was withdrawn from school due to an incident which left him with a Scar across his face, his father hired him a personal tutor and. A bodyguard

One as close in age to his son that the organisation he went to would allow that they still believed was trained well enough to perform effectively as a bodyguard

If I can bring myself to draw as well I'll try and get an au summary out with some buttercups doodles but it's a mumscarian au (fork found in kitchen) wherein Scar is a rich nepo baby, Mumbo is his butler, and Grian his bodyguard

And they're gayy
