Looking back, this is probably the only video edit where I ended up posting the second version and not the first.
Both edits used cello music covers of Titanium, but they approached the song very differently. The first completely reimagined it, mainly through cello and piano, recreating even the beats from scratch.
The second cover stayed much closer to the pulse of the original song. It retained more of the rhythm and momentum that made Titanium feel like Titanium.
It's one of the few edits where I consciously chose the music version that served the story.

We have made it to the final Prompt Tuesday of our event! It has been a fantastic journey and experience so far, and we hope to go out with a bang for our last prompt!
🌈 Portray a queer character’s first time at a pride parade. Delve into their journey as a queer person and their emotions and thoughts about the heavy history of pride. How did they fight every obstacle in life to be where they are? Do they have regrets? Are they nervous about being accepted? Show their experience during the parade and watch as the magic of queer existence unfolds. Let it out all out, for our final Tuesday Prompt!
For the final prompt, portray a pride parade piece! It could be about a pairing going for a pride parade date if you want a fun spin! It could also take a more serious turn, and you can showcase the heavy journey that the character had to go through to reach this point. Let out your hopes for the future or pay respect to the previous generations of the LGBTQIA+ community and their fights to make an expression of queer love a possibility! For the final time, happy creating! 🏳️🌈
As always:
-> Tag your submissions with #rc catalog pride month event and #rc catalog prompt tuesday so we can see and celebrate them

We can’t wait to see what you create! And most importantly, we hope you’re living your truth and embracing every part of who you are! 🌺
Book: Shakespeare's Code
Pairing: Amabelle x Edward Pembroke

Attraction is an unusual thing, a siren that haunts and stalks in the shadows. It warps according to their will, helping them to subdue their prey. Edward Pembroke had a siren. It took Amabelle's form.
The waters are still around him. It is silent. And then he thinks of her. Soft sighs spill from the lips of Amabelle. A song. She is his siren. Nestling into forgotten corners of his brain, she emerges from them at night to prick like a scorpion at his being.
That's why they are here. The only reason he allows himself to be here. It's not his fault, he reasons. It's her, she brought him here, enticed him with the sweet curves of her lips as she mumbles low, her face fitting perfectly into the crook of his neck, breathing so soft, so sweet against him; her amber eyes that bleed into the flame he holds before him; the way his name tumbles out of her, teasing yet controlled. Reason eludes him as he stares at her, in awe, in reverence. The corners of her lip tighten and pull upward in a familiar grin.
She knows what she's doing. And so does he.
They sway, turning around each other even when standing still - orbiting, he realises. He’s realised a lot of things lately. Emotions forged in the cold fire of his clarity.
His fire?
No. Hers.
The one that burns in her eyes.
Amabelle is a siren. An image of contradictions meant to break him down. She sings her siren song low. It is sacred, it is only for his ears. She brings him to his knees. He sings too, words spilling out and catching on the air.
