Thanks @manicpixelwench for creating Ghita and this story. I especially appreciated having a 30-year-old protagonist with established friendships and work experience. It gave the story a perspective we don't often see. I also appreciated your willingness to experiment and take creative risks throughout the story. It was a pleasure to make this edit.

Echoes of an Eco-Capsule | A Corner of PSI

One of the things I enjoy most about stories is how they occasionally influence how we see the world around us.

Forest Valley at Jewel Changi Airport was designed to bring nature closer to people while balancing sustainability, biodiversity and thoughtful engineering.

Years later, while reading PSI, I found myself remembering it during Ivo and Lou's eco-capsule date scene.

What connected the two was the feeling of nature and human engineering co-existing side-by-side within the same carefully designed space — where science, technology and knowledge helped create safer spaces for both discovery and coexistence.

Both became green sanctuaries for people to escape their worries, and just be for a while.

For a moment, it wasn't just remembering a place, but remembering how it felt to stand inside it.

The Heartbeat of "Titanium" | PSI Video Edit

Looking back, this is probably the only video edit where I ended up posting the second version and not the first.

Both edits used cello music covers of Titanium, but they approached the song very differently. The first completely reimagined it, mainly through cello and piano, recreating even the beats from scratch.

The second cover stayed much closer to the pulse of the original song. It retained more of the rhythm and momentum that made Titanium feel like Titanium.

It's one of the few edits where I consciously chose the music version that served the story.

Waiting for the Missing Piece (WIP)

Looking forward to the finale of "The Missing" and wondering whether the ending will align with Ghita's character arc I've been seeing unfold.

While working on the edit, I've been trying to compress all the musical moments that give me goosebumps in the song into a 1.5-minute segment. I'm kinda increasingly fond of how the rearrangement prolongs that feeling.

Between the Tempest and the Sky | TTS "Padam Padam" Video Edit

Nine months ago, I was wondering whether to focus on Tiss's future with Tai or Sha'arnez. The introduction of the "Fatal Flirt" achievement, allowing players to potentially see the two rivals duel for her affection made this indecision feel more urgent. (But don't we love this type of mayhem? 🤭)

Even then, Tai's route already hinted at the duality that fascinated me: at times he felt like a tempestuous, fiery whirlwind, and at others like the sheltered care of a great green forest.

Meanwhile, Sha'arnez was the supportive mentor who helped Tiss discover her potential as a dragon rider, encouraging her growing bond with Narialm.

Looking back now, this edit feels like a small time capsule from a moment when both futures seemed equally appealing.

I have since settled on a route.

Unfortunately, TTS later introduced Aldir and reminded me that certainty is a fragile thing. 🤭

After Salvation Lost Its Meaning | Reviewing HSU's Mikael and Audrey

When I first made this Belle edit, I was reflecting on why the "holy" archangel Mikael was fascinated with Audrey, an "impure" sacrifice by nature yet with a luminous spirit.

At the same time, she was also foretold to carry out one part of Shepha's ("holy") salvation. As later revealed in ABH and HSR, Shepha's definitions of holiness, salvation, and destruction were never what they were believed to be.

So in latest HS3 updates, when Mikael and Audrey was shown against a backdrop of a surreal colourful field after their long-awaited intimacy, the meaning of that contrast changed for me.

Not because their story simply became “dark” under Shephamalum, but because the darkness itself no longer feels purely destructive. It is becoming something Audrey is slowly learning to wield with her own will.

Something about the surreal colourful fields in HS3 reminded me of the December fields in Khao Yai.

Love, Shadow and Catastrophe after the Wedding Banquet | TTS “Toxic” Edit

Rewatching and editing these TTS scenes again, I still cannot get over how unbelievable it feels.

CW for flashing visuals, implied violence, sexual imagery and poisoning/drugging themes

The wedding banquet itself already carried so much tension beneath the beauty. Foelh publicly naming the future son of Vellora as heir should have been a political moment, but the scene felt painfully personal too.

And afterwards, everything seems to collapse into each other at once. Love, humiliation, inheritance, shadow, violence and influence all become emotionally entangled.

Perhaps what unsettles me most is not only Tai himself, but watching how Tiss changes beside him. Little by little, the boundaries around what feels unthinkable begin shifting.

“Toxic” somehow captured these spiralling feelings perfectly. 🤯

PSI | "Moonlight Sonata"

One of the pieces played in PSI is Beethoven’s “Moonlight Sonata.”

My mind immediately went to Ivo and Lou’s kiss scene when I recognized it. The restrained intensity and emotional quietness of the piece feel like that scene to me.

But I love how other readers associate it with different moments too — the moonlit cello scene, the planetarium date…

It somehow fits all of them. 🤍🎻

TTS | For Introverts — “There’s Someone in Ro’od Who Understands You”

I was so swept up by Tai’s impulsive, ardent affection earlier that I almost completely missed the quiet intimacy of Aldir’s second kiss scene.

“There’s someone in Ro’od who understands you.”

I suspect this scene will touch many introverts' hearts. With only a few simple words, Aldir sees the truth in Tiss without her needing to explain herself. And it feels like Tiss sees Aldir too.

His gentle treatment of her hair. Tiss’s teasing response. The warmth of the backdrop.

I didn’t expect the kiss-stealing spy’s scenes to feel this tender. 🌻

See how happy Aldir looks when Tiss doesn't reject having dinner with him.

This edit ended up feeling like a counterpoint to my earlier “Heartbroken” edit for Soulless' Vyxaria & Threxio (link).

“Heartbroken” explored Threxio's earlier arc of betrayal and emotional devastation.

While “My Pride” is about finding confidence, resilience, and strength through the support of a loved one.

The Thunderstorms Saga (TTS) Tiss x Tai — "limit of relationship"

After three seasons of slowburn with the enemy prince, Tai ey Eini, I thought this moment would feel like the beginning.

Instead, Tiss (named “Elva” in this video) thought: “This is the extent of my relationship with him. The limit.”

That threw me off completely, and hurt more than I expected.

This video looks at the people and experiences that might have led her to see it this way.
