All Romance Club LIs I've Romanced - Ranked by Memes
Another RC meme ranking video from me! My first one is here. Instead of ranking the stories I've played, I'm instead ranking the LIs I've romanced! I'm excluding the ones I've romanced alongside who y'all see here 'cause I've stopped/been locked out of their routes & that means they're incomplete on my end.
Feel free to disagree with my opinions here. Just be respectful about it.
(also, not every LI is tagged 'cause of the 30 tag limit so pardon the exclusion of a few)
While we wait, here's a sketch from The One Vol. 2, Kiana and Joel on the night he appears on her balcony after being eliminated (we didn't have time to finish it).

‘’So…’’ Kiana looked up from the map on her phone for what felt like the hundredth time and craned her neck around the road, looking for the left turn that was supposed to be there. Joel was driving at a snail’s pace, chewing on his lip.
The left turn was not where it should have been.
‘’Is this thing working?’’ Kiana dragged her finger across the screen, and stared as the map continued loading. ‘’It doesn’t seem right.’’
‘’Can I say that we are officially lost now?’’ Joel spoke up, tapping his finger on the steering wheel, his other hand fidgeting with the hem of his t-shirt.
‘’No! I’m sure we are not.’’ Kiana began tilting her phone sideways, as if looking at the map at a 45° angle will make it any easier to understand.
‘’Ki…babe. We have been officially lost for the last half an hour.’’
‘’Noo, I swear I can figure this thing out.’’
Just then, the Maps app let out a loud beep, signalling that it was rerouting them. Again.
‘’Ki…’’ Joel’s voice sounded strained. He was tired. Goddamn it, he loved this woman but sometimes -
‘’Okay, okay. Fine, we are lost.’’ Kiana relented, and her lips turned downward. She switched off the navigation, and looked out of the window, at the green fields on the side of the road, where a couple cows were grazing peacefully.
‘’What are we supposed to do in the middle of…’’ Kiana couldn’t find the words.
‘’Bumfuck nowhere?’’ Joel supplied a rather fitting option.
She had to laugh. ‘’Yeah. Bumfuck nowhere.’’
Without a word, Joel pulled over on the side of the road, and killed the engine. They would be stuck here for a while.
‘’What now?’’ Kiana looked at him, as he stared ahead at the empty road. He heaved a sigh, his shoulders moving up, then coming down, kind of like how when milk boils and rises, and then goes down when you turn the gas off.
Joel was quiet for a few seconds. Then -
‘’Do you want a sandwich, Ki? We have sandwiches.’’ As he spoke, Joel shifted in his seat to reach towards the backseat, where Kiana had placed a backpack full of packed food for their trip.
‘’Joel.’’ Her voice was sharp. How could he think about food when they were lost in the middle of…of…ugh, bumfuck nowhere. Kiana swivelled her head around, trying to make out any kind of landmark. But there was nothing and no one, except for the two cows.
Kiana huffed in anger and slumped in her seat. It was a hot day which wasn’t helped by the fact that the leather seat was sticking to her thighs. She would have to literally peel her thighs off the seat, and it would hurt and it would feel icky.
‘’Kiana.’’ His voice snapped her out of her thoughts. She glanced at him, a frown furrowing her brow. He handed her a sandwich - no forced it into her hand. ‘’Eat. Relax. We will figure something out. We always do.’’
Kiana pursed her lips, ‘’Yeah, sure. Wonder how long it will take.’’
‘’Hey, now. Just eat. We will need the fuel, probably. I’m sure someone will come walking along the road any second. We can ask them for directions.’’
Kiana looked at Joel again, saw the earnestness in his eyes, ‘’Right. Someone will just happen to be here right when we need them? Yet again, no idea about the time it will take?’’
‘’Patience is a virtue, darling.’’ Joel winked at her, and Kiana couldn’t help the smile that cracked her face. The way her heart fluttered, even though it was coming close to a year that they had been dating. She was literally marrying this man within the year too. But he still managed to make her blush, even in the worst scenarios.
And for that, she was grateful.
‘’Thanks, J. I…I do need to calm down, huh?’’
Joel shrugged his shoulders and hummed, ‘’Eh, you’re frustrated, I’m frustrated, it’s hot, we are lost. Very valid reaction, darling.’’
Kiana giggled.
‘’What?’’
‘’Nothing’’ She bit the inside of her lip, to stop her laughing.
‘’Ki…what?’’
‘’Nothing. It’s kinda stupid really.’’
‘’Babe, tell me.’’
She met his eyes, and through a whole lot of giggling, said, ‘’I just think it’s cute…heh…that you call me darling. Never got over that.’’
Joel’s eyes softened instantly. He looked down at his lap, suddenly blushing, and chuckled softly. ‘’Aren’t you sweet?’’
Kiana smiled, and looked ahead at the empty road, ‘’Soo…we just wait?’’
Joel waved his hand around, ‘’Do you have another idea?’’
Kiana glanced at him, his head slightly tilted towards her, and she pointed out of the window. ‘’Cows, right?’’
‘’Cows.’’
‘’Yeah.’’
‘’Your idea is cows?’’
‘’Well, no, Joel! Connect the dots.’’ Kiana felt her face heat up, and she pouted before speaking, ‘’The cows are grazing there, which means their owner is probably close by, which means…’’ she glanced at Joel meaningfully.
His eyes widened as realisation struck, ‘’There’s a farmhouse nearby!’’
Kiana clapped in excitement. Even a few hours ago, she wouldn’t have thought she would be happy over cows. ‘’Exactly!’’
‘’Thank you for having us, and again, we are extremely sorry for barging in on you guys.’’ Kiana found herself repeating her gratitude (for probably the third time, at this point) to the very sweet old couple in the farm who had taken Kiana and Joel into their wing instantly, no complaints.
They were sitting in their living room, the four of them. It smelled like old people. Which made sense, really. It also smelled like the best cookies Kiana would ever eat in her life.
The man laughed creakily, ‘’It’s no bother, lady. You’re not the first people to lose their way here.’’
Joel was nursing a cup of hot tea, and blowing on its surface he piped in, ‘’It was a bit strange though, no? Our map app just suddenly stopped working out of nowhere.’’
The lady shrugged her shoulders, ‘’Oh, well. It happens sometimes. Nothing much you can do about it really - oh! I know what my mama would say about this! It must be a sign from the universe for you to get lost.’’
Kiana blinked, ‘’A sign?’’
‘’Angeline, don’t bother them with all that, m’dear.’’
‘’Oh, come on, Martin. There’s a chance that my mama was right!’’
Martin just chuckled again, a loving glint in his eyes. Clearly, this was a conversation they had everyday, and Angeline must be finding multiple signs from the universe all the time.
Kiana couldn’t help the smile she cracked and glanced at Joel who - she noticed with glee - also had his lips quirked upwards.
She leaned towards him and whispered in his ear, ‘’Maybe that’s what we will be like in the future.’’
She watched on with satisfaction as Joel rapidly cleared his throat multiple times, his neck and ears turning red as tomatoes.
‘’Oh, dear, Joel, was that your name? Are you alright?’’ Angeline’s brows furrowed, the concern evident in her face. ‘’Don’t drink your tea too fast now, yeah?’’
‘’Absolutely, ma’am, don’t worry about me.’’ His voice came out as if he had to push the words up the hill of his throat, kind of like Sisyphus. Kiana grinned to herself, perfectly happy with the outcome of her words.
They spent about another hour at the ranch, touring the whole place. Joel made friends with a horse (who he called Sparky, even though that was not his name), as Kiana munched on freshly baked cookies (courtesy of Martin), watching her boyfriend - no, fiance - play with Sparky.
After multiple promises of coming back to visit Martin and Angeline again, and getting the proper directions that will get them home, Joel and Kiana settled down in the car, feeling refreshed after the unexpected but needed detour.
‘’Maybe, we should open up a ranch too, once we are older.’’ Kiana found herself talking, as Joel started up the car.
‘’Really?’’ Joel glanced at her before quickly shifting his eyes back to the road.
‘’Could be fun!’’ Kiana giggled.
‘’Haha, very funny, babe.’’
‘’You’’ll think about it?’’
‘’Sure thing, babe.’’
Kiana burst out laughing and soon enough the couple were well on their way, cracking jokes about all the crazy shenanigans they may some day get up to.
‘’Do you think Martin and Angeline will let me adopt Sparky?’’
‘’Joel!’’
