     “Why is it that humans enjoy upsetting the natural balance of the world at every opportunity? You continue to meddle with what you do not understand, and then wonder why you suffer after the deed has been done.” Mothra has seen it countless times over the eons, and now, with science, they push further and further, to the point of no return. Even if Mothra can withstand this fragile prison that Monarch put her in, she can’t abide the needless suffering of the other monsters who have been trapped in similar shells. They don’t know what it is like to die and be reborn into new bodies over and over again.

     Faye glanced up when Dr. Staton entered the room with a snarky remark. She closed the magazine she had been mindlessly gazing over and pushed herself out the chair and discarded the magazine on a desk. There had been some warning to his attitude but she found it to be fairly enjoyable so far. Who didn’t like a smartass?

          “Thought we just dealt with monsters, didn’t realize Genies were real too. And where’s the fun in gettin’ everythin’ I want so easily?” She asked, passing a desk and picking up a large manilla envelope and presenting it to him. “Do I’ve got some interestin’ stuff for you!”

“I can smell things you know,” Belle said as she looked across the counter to Rick, head tilting curiously at the other because she couldn’t quite pinpoint one emotion coming from him. “Fear and excitement. It’s something I haven’t smelled since I met Zach and his brother. You don’t have to be afraid. I promised Daddy that I wouldn’t try to eat a human...again. I want to know how all of this stuff works,” she said with a wave of her hand towards the computers. “Teach me.”
