How do you explain that? How do you explain to Wally that he deserves someone who loves him and that he won’t mess it up? How do you explain that yes there will be mistakes on both ends — there always is in a relationship — but who work it out and grow stronger together. How do you explain it when Barry feels the exact same way sometimes? ❝ I know it’s not simple or easy but— if you like them, it doesn’t hurt to try. The thing about relationships is that no matter what there will be mess-ups. You’re both only human, we’re not gods or perfect in every way and that…. that’s okay. ❞ He rocks back and forth on his feet, an obvious side effect of a speedster having to slow down and talk— even if it was to another speedster. ❝ It’s okay because… well. ❞ A hand runs to rest palm down on the back of his neck as he shrugs.
