there was something familiar about the birdie that stood before him, feathers ruffled. Little birds, he’d played with from time to time. But this one? This one he seemed to know. Somewhere, perhaps in his dreams, they’d met before. & he’d crushed the robin between his hands. As he’d do again, in reality.

SHE WAS LISTENING. steph swears she was listening... at one point. the conversation had started with different colored smoke bombs ( she’d subtly admitted that a set of purple smoke bombs would be cool ) and somehow it had evolved into some technical nonsense that she was having trouble keeping up with. ❝ but can you actually do it? ❞  she interjected during a pause in the conversation. she wouldn’t admit she didn’t understand a word he was saying but he was cute while he said it none the less. head tilted to lean on his firm shoulder, she peers up and smiles.      ❝ you’re the smartest person i know, my favorite little dork. ❞   @rcdwings​
