#postcardMonday got my first ever @Postcrossing card from Japan after the reopening of the postal system in the country. We still can't send out to other countries, same with receiving postcards. How I wish it were back to normal!! I miss sending out to all countries. Hopefully, that will happen soon.

#postcardMonday I super miss sending and receiving postcards. Why oh why does there have to be a pandemic and disrupt everyone's life?!?! What sort of new age are we entering? Anyway, I couldn't wait to resume my hobby of sending out postcards. I hope that everything will return to "normal" as soon as possible.

#postcardMonday my second card that I sent out from Siem Reap, Cambodia. It helped a lot that I was able to purchase stamps for my three postcards. We got to send this on the day we arrived in Siem Reap. The first day was just a half day tour and shopping day. The two days after were the temple run days that we totally enjoyed.

I liked how Cambodia's post office have this standard look. They all looked the same, even in Sihanoukville. I haven't received the third card. I hope I will. I think it got caught up in the lockdown. Boohoo!

We're all still praying for better days ahead. This lockdown has caused a lot of inconvenience. I'm not exempt as it's no work, no pay for me. Huhuhu.

#postcardMonday today I'm sharing about the postcard from Cambodia (Phnom Penh, to be exact) that I sent home to myself. I received said card two weeks after I have sent it. Yey!

We were able to buy postcards on the first day that we arrived in Phnom Penh. However, the post office was closed according to our tour guide, so we couldn't post my postcard. We also needed to buy stamps for sending out. Luckily, on day two of our Phnom Penh stay, we lucked out at the National Museum, where they not only sell postcards, but they also had postage stamps!!! 3,000 riel for sending out a postcard.

We got to send out my first postcard from Phnom Penh on a Sunday. That's me dropping my card in a mailbox. It was a pretty exciting adventure, as it's also my first time in sending myself one from overseas.

Next week, I will be sharing about my second postcard from Cambodia. Till then... ta-tah! ^_^

#postcardMonday I actually received three cards last week, but I will be preparing each of the two for more in-depth stories, as they were postcards that I sent home from Cambodia. More next time about them...

According to the sender, this one is a UNESCO World Heritage site. I love getting them. I'm sure that if I had more resources, I would also love traveling to them.

#postcardMonday not too many incoming postcards, but they're all great! Truly love receiving these in my mailbox. ^_^ As they make me smile each time I receive them, I also hope to be spreading smiles globally in my own little way.
