Aside from working on quilts for my home and shop, as well as attending and participating in local events this summer, I'm active on Postcrossing again.
What's Postcrossing? It's a website where you sign up to send and receive postcards. It helps diminish the feelings of isolation and loneliness, and gives me something look forward to. Here's my Postcrossing profile, just as a little proof I am, in fact, sending off cards.
Unfortunately, my selection of postcards is greatly diminished, and I'm low on postage for both international and local shipping. I do, however, have some options for folks who would like to help me combat the loneliness and isolation I deal with.
I have my Throne list! There are postcards and stamps there. If you fancy purchasing these on my behalf, Throne offers the option of doing so anonymously.
Currently, I have my ko-fi goal set up for ordering stamps and postcards.
If you would like something for your money, I also have a shop on ko-fi.
But, if you would like to receive a postcard from me, you can sign up as one of my members. There are other goodies too, so read the tiers. I send postcards, and sometimes I send gifts.
I highly recommend signing up with Postcrossing! It's fun and simple, with the benefit of giving you something to look forward to. I have four very full postcard albums now, and a box with enough for three more. Getting new albums isn't imperative, seeing as the box is holding them just fine. I do suggest you get a nice box to store the cards you receive.
My ideology-love people 🩷
Forgot to show you guys, but here's the February postcard for my Monthly Postcards, and it's for Maslenitsa aka the Pancake Week! I love this design and I was happy to use up some of my treasured Maslenitsa stamps on it as well. The stamp is from 2005 and the face value is funny compared to today's postal rates, but it's still one of my favourite stamps ever. So kitsch and yet it feels so me. :D
I have a couple of these postcards left if you want one, feel free to subscribe or message me!
PS: the March postcard will be sent from an ex-USSR country that ends with -stan 👀

Recent incoming from Finland! What fun-to-draw birds bullfinches are! So chonky! Now I am itching to paint one.
Through Postcrossing, I received a truly one-of-a-kind zine. It is called "What If Ducks Replace Human Mail Carriers?" It is so cute & adorable!
The little envelope had a letter and duck earrings. But the earrings were unfortunately damaged during the delivery :*(
So glad there are people making these awesome stuff in the world and I get to enjoy them 😍🥰
