"you finally MADE IT!" standing, waving! both arms engaged and in the air! the blonde's peering up and over at the familiar man that had ducked inside of e18hteen, the blonde darting forwards to give the taller man's shoulder a fake punch-out. it'd been a while since she'd seen him last, but then again, he's sort of new to the local team, isn't he? the trade was a surprise for most people who liked to tune into the game, wasn't it? but the girls all find it funny to see him, and he's all young money with the attitude to blow it! and doesn't she always like having friends who love a good time?
"how are you settling in?" especially now, when the snow was overflowing into the streets, leaving the general populace generally unwilling to go out. which made shifts SO BORING for a girl who loved to dream, to talk, to do things... so having like company? was too good an opportunity to pass up! sighing dramatically as she lead him off towards the booth he liked, a menu, a glass to drink from!
outside, it isn't as blustery as it's been most of the month. instead it's settled into the sort of icy chill that packed the existing snow down and heavy. a sparkling clarity! she loved the mornings, the nights, though, they felt so EMPTY. maybe why she's still wondering why here of all places, but then boston, well, didn't that one singer say it? everybody hates boston. well. except people from boston, it seemed. but that's not really ilya, is it? and even for alice, it's not like this is home. so for two people, so far out of place in a city like this one~ was it not fate for their paths to cross?
