I think that collectively as a fandom we should not freak out everytime someone mentions the word barchie. They are DONE as a ship, they're not happening anymore. They are just friends.

I don't think they will give her any sympathy. Really she sounds like this season's Hiram, and as for Edgar? Honestly I could see him turning out to be a red herring baddie, and the real main baddie is someone else. Like Gladys.

I know RAS is batshit with his plot ideas sometimes, but we still have Hiram. And Penny. And that whole crew basically. Even Penelope, who has done some fucked up shit, hasn’t been given the main baddie stamp. Gladys running a bunch of teens through a chop shop in Ohio, which seems to be more on with the whole Serpent brand of after school special because there are no adults in this gang anymore. Just rebellious teenagers. 

I think the farm plot with Edgar is going to have something pretty substantial to it. It’s basically a cult that both Polly and Alice are in, pretty deep, and doing weird shit. And I guess whatever that figure was from the promo? 

They might want Gladys to be a bitch for Alice/Betty reasons, but I don’t think she’ll come to burn everyone down, so to speak.

Okay, I'm gonna answer this one anon because I'm tired of seeing my inbox get clogged with asks. I am not baiting you, literally I could care less about the views of show or whatever reason you may think I have for baiting you.

I stand by what I said about episode 10 being good for bughead, their storyline is just starting so I have no clue if y'all expected them to just jump back together but relationships take time even in the show. You saw them exploring back together and they will continue to do so. There's important developments for bughead in episode 10 and if you don't believe me then that's your problem. There's definitely more bughead after episode 10. Bughead and Varchie are the endgames.

Now thank you all for reminding why I stopped interacting with this fandom. From now on I won't be answering any more questions about future episodes so there's no point in sending more asks.

Hiya. I am a bit confused (not having a go at you <3), there was no Bughead development or any Bughead scenes this episode

Hi Nonnie, I'm gonna answer just this one to clarify stuff. I was told there was a bughead make out scene in this episode, not the context of it, and that there was some developments that bring bughead closer in the future (which did happen).

So don't despair, there is bughead in the future but now we gotta hold for it. That's all I'm gonna say and good luck to all of us during this hiatus 🤡

Edit: to add that there ARE bughead scenes in the episodes currently being filmed so don't worry, it's just starting.

As much as I was a bughead shipper I know Barchie still can be endgame, there is no way Cole will sign for a 7th season knowing the mess it is between Cole & Lili right now, even in the fandom it's Cole VS Lili and Cole obviously gets more hate because he is dating other girls so he is the disgusting one. Truthfully I don't want Cole to stay in this show, enjoy your barchie/varchie love triangle + barchie endgame. It's time for everything to end and I choose drama free

Okay for the 100th time, repeat after me, Cole and Lili are both professionals. Whatever goes on in their private life does not affect the storyline and it never will.

FRANKLY I don't see any sort of mess other than the one that's created by the "fans" themselves and cole and lili have absolutely no involvement in whatever craziness goes down in fandom. Please set the record straight and let it be known that Riverdale is not airing later so they can do rewrites that’s not how television works😭 And other shows are also airing later like how does that even make sense?? The desperation is sad

Okay seriously please stop paying attention to crazy people. They're absolutely not doing rewrites, they barely have enough time to get the season done as it is and they're definitely not going to back track on a whole half season based on some deranged fans.

They're absolutely not doing rewrites, the plotlines and stories have not been modified at all and it is all going as they had decided when the season begun (aka going for bugvarchie as endgame). Calm down its just because filming is taking a lot longer and post production is as well.

The highest rated episodes of this season were 5x05-5x06 and the havent even bothered promoting Varchie or Bughead. Barchie is far from over, honey😉 Nothings over until the show is over

Bughead will never be endgame because it's confirmed Cole & Lili hate each other so much, their Stans are truly psychos y'all are saying bughead bughead bughead but barchies are way more mature in the end

I'm gonna answer this because like I said before, this is probably the dumbest argument I hear. I have no clue where this whole idea about cole and lili not getting along came about but it is complete bullshit. They're both professionals and they love their job so they get along just fine and more importantly they don't let anything personal affect their job. They're there to do justice to what RAS and the other writers decide to do with the characters and that is bughead.

And please do tell me how faking an interview, harrasing the writers and insulting the characters AND the actors (just to name a few things) qualifies as "being more mature" because frankly the behavior of a good chunk of bxrchie fans is completely appalling.
