Yamaha RD250
⠀ It's a flashback to the 70's with our 1975 RD250B #YamahaOfYesterday ride. 1975 was the final year of production for the RD250 in the U.S., although the bike continued to be offered in other countries around the world. 1975 was also the only year that the RD250 featured a front disc brake instead of the drum brake that was offered on the 1973 and 1974 RD250 models. In fact, other than the slightly smaller tires, the color, a little bit less dry weight, and a smaller bore and pistons in its two-stroke, twin-cylinder, Autolube-oil-injected 247cc engine, the 1975 RD250B was absolutely identical to the 1975 RD350B. For its swan song in the U.S., the RD250B featured a stunning Clean White livery with striking orange accent stripes that mimicked the Yamaha TZ road racers of that particular era. #Yamaha #RD250 #1975 #Streetbike #FlashbackFriday
