I didn't think I would be able to get to them! I’m so happy and He’s already seen and totally Loves It! The hardest part was knowing this would be one of the few times I was decided to go back to when they first met and fell in love but added the earring from middle adventures, the scar from the magic blade, and the wedding band from the end. 100% Non-Game/Anime/Show/Book OCs but have been used to travel together IN games
This pains me because it took me 2 years to even “kind of” finish. I can’t finish it all the way knowing it is probably the last I’ll ever see the two together. It’s hard to say goodbye when they were never apart, not really. But their story has come to an end and we’re having to say goodbye to Lord Ravenlock. Jenai will probably just fade like smoke now that her heart, her flame, has been extinguished.
I wish many had been able to really know them.
Being Brave and sharing old works of my OCs. I was so heavy into bishoujo. I still am a huge fan, but not as deeply as before. This took me foooreeeevvver and I had shit for brushes and used line paper, a scanner and mouse. I had no tablet.
I miss them.
A fearless and sweet friend’s OC. I wanted to do some more practice (speed doodle) and chose her Hera because I’ve always loved her <3 I’ll clean it up later.
Seems like it had been a lifetime—since that night. That night that changed his life in such a manner, that to this very day, he’d still not truly be able to find the words that would reflect what he truly felt or how much his world had turned, since that very night.
The night that she literally fell from the heavens, in front of him.
The night she slipped into the darkened depths of the bay waters in the most volatile manner, no less.
The night he dove into those depths with no regards to himself— only to surface with her in his arms.
He remembers it as if it had just happened a moment, ago… The commotion along the pier, the flashing of lights, as well as preservers and ropes being tossed to him as he made his way towards the dock, making sure to keep the tightest of grips on her seemingly frail form.
The hands as they reached out to him, offering assistance as he neared the ladder. Hands that he refused as he took the ladder, rung by rung, making sure that grip on her was most secure, as he continued to climb. And once that ladder had been cleared, he set her upon the dock, making sure to check her over—vitals and what not.
He recalls the questions, the sheer puzzlement—because, let’s be honest here, folks. How many times, does someone actually fall out of the sky—let alone a night sky, into the bay itself… Especially someone, looking as she did.
Of course, the commotion drew even more attention. Some of the ‘unwanted variety’, as he could hear the sirens of the Watch, nearing.
At that time, he knew he couldn’t stay. Not as he was, then. Not with the questions, the expressions of recognition from some of the gathered, and more so—the Watch.
So, he left her there, in the hands of the crowd, knowing she’d be alright, especially with the Watch so close. No name given, what so ever. It was best that way, he figured. Especially for him…
His life went on, living and working on the docks, all the while keeping to himself as best as he could. It was a simple life, but it was his, you know?
Never in his life, would he ever have expected to meet her again—ironically, on the docks, no less.
But he did.
Strange, isn’t it? How things tend to come full circle… How the most outlandish of meetings, can turn the tide of fate in the most amazing of manners. How a girl that fell from the sky, took a man confined to the shadows, so to speak— and guided him into what he could at the very least say was a ‘whole new world’, no pun intended.
But that’s what happened… And ‘Jay’ would never forget it.
