Quick breather!

Hey! I still have a prompt ask to write so I just wanted to post this little update here. I'm moving today and have been swamped with packing over the last few, so I'm a little behind on answering asks. I will still answer them, but it might take me a couple of days. ❤ Just wanted to throw that out there so no one felt ignored.

Hey, may i know your thought towards this chapter? Like what do you think about hide's love for kaneki?

No big surprise that Hide loves Kaneki. Just like how Tsukiyama loves him too, and I’m sure Hinami and Banjou and many others do too. What I’m trying to say is, “love” comes in many forms. It doesn’t prove that Hide has romantic feelings for Kaneki. There needs to be more interaction and context to evaluate that. Personally, I haven’t seen anything so far that would urgently hint at such feelings from neither of them. And also, Kaneki and Touka are in love and married and that’s a canon fact and I can definitely do without some form of love triangle between Kaneki and Touka and Hide and I don’t think Ishida is looking for that either. The most prominent feature about Hide is his dedication to Kaneki imo and this is also something that is subject of discussion as I see many wonder about, where is the line drawn between romantic love and love between best friends? Because he sacrifices so much for Kaneki and cares so much for him and is willing to die for him and if you’re only friends you can’t go that far for the other? But tbh, I don’t think there is a line to this. I often see ppl assuming that romantic love is the strongest form of love which is totally wrong imo.

All forms of love, be it between lovers, friends or family are on equal footing!

I’m just super excited that the sunshine boy is back after 84 years of waiting (yes, I know he has shady stuffs on him too like pretty much all of the TG characters) and I can’t wait to learn more about him, who he really is, what he’s been through and what his plans are.

(i’m assuming you’re just particularly asking about that Hide/Kaneki part right? because there was much more to the chapter and I have lots of thoughts on it but I have to study now which is why I’m not online a lot recently btw so yeah see ya!)

Hi, do you know if there’s a complete english translation of QZGS aside from lnmtl? Even a half decent or rough translation will do. I’ve come across QZGS last week, i’ve watched the amime, read the manga adaptation and finished up to 821 of the current english translation. At the rate they’re going it would take a year or two to finish it T_T

Hi! As far as I know the only source for the novel translation is Gravitytales. Aside from that, @syncogon did some translation of the prequel novel here.

In regards to the most recent chapter, I've seen a lot of people referring to an incident where Urie apparently stabbed Mutsuki, but I'm super confused; I do not remember this happening at all. Can you please remind me when/why this happened? I'm too lazy to trawl through the TG wiki trying to find it and I figured you'd know.

Lol y'all are so curious about their private life. 

Yeah, they did get some other chances here and there to share some more intimate moments together. That’s nice because I was wondering if Kaneki was so busy with the issues at hand that they didn’t have time to share together (but maybe he doesn’t have much free time know since their situation is getting more and more dangerous). I love how Kaneki looks super tired and kinda grim all the time but when he’s with Touka he can relax and smile a bit.

The big question I’m interested in regarding this is: did they use protection when they did it again (and again and again~)? Really makes me wonder if this is Ishida lowkey throwing shade at how the education on sex is lacking in Japan?

Has anyone realized that Touka's butt has appeared to become bigger or is it just me?

Went back to check with chapter 125 (not that i planned to reread it or anything). I think she always had such nice butt. The TG characters all have nice butts.

So Yoriko is getting executed on April of the year that is taking place or next year? Plus will Touka having the baby in that year of December

The letter is from 23rd April and it seems there has already been a missive of that matter on April 15 (so she must have been in custody for over a week now) but it actually doesn’t state when she’s gonna get executed. I highly assume that she’s going to be executed soon though.

Yeah, the baby will be born in December. The lab infiltration was around valentines day, Akira probably took around 2+ weeks to recover so the Touken talk + chapter 125 happened somewhere in (the beginning of) March.
