Piñata Party

Lucifer poured himself a drink, his bartenders busy with so many patrons.  He took a sip of his three fingers of whiskey and set it down, turning as one of his wait staff brought out the piñata.  It was shaped like an angel and he took the dangling paper mâché figure and held it up with one hand.  In the other was a sleep mask and a bat.  “Alright, who’s up first?”

He scanned the crowd of those who had hands in the air or were jumping up and down and his eyes found a a familiar face.  “Abby. You get first crack.”

Festivities

Lucifer sat at an open booth around a small drink table as he faced the stage in LUX watching the performers dance in skimpy angel winged or devil horns and a tail with flames painted up along their limbs.  He smiled as he watched the dancers move and show off their skills on the built in poles on the stage.

Tipping back his glass the took a sip of his usual whiskey and turned to Bella, “It’s lovely you’ve come to celebrate my unofficial birthday with me. How are you enjoying the festivities so far?”

Lucifer stood on the landing at the top of the stairs that lead down to LUX.  It was in full swing, filled with patrons, entertainers, and fun.  He glanced to his side at Cheryl, “You going to play me a special song tonight?”

Lucifer strolled into the middle of the crowded LUX, after he’d taken a few moments to peruse the path of least resistance to the bar. Of course his bar staff would likely approach him with a drink at any given time, he saw a familiar dark haired slayer near the bar. He slid up beside her and took a seat, “Enjoying the party? You seem bored.”
