Re-Imagination This Dish Is Too Hot (2009)
A re-imagination of the flags of the three cities in the Grand Theft Auto 3D and HD era (Part 1)
from /r/vexillology Top comment: I noticed that only San Andreas in GTA V has its own flag, so I made two more for Vice City and Liberty City. I also tried to re-incorporate what the devs in Rockstar would've made the flags if they added them in the game. The two I made might look shitty, but just imagine them as graphical limitations in older games.
Phantogram - Fall In Love (Until The Ribbon Breaks Re-imagination)
London Grammar - Sights (Until The Ribbon Breaks Re-Imagination)
We first shared this track over three years ago, but Until The Ribbon Breaks’ unique re-imagination of Phantogram’s Fall In Love seems to have been brought back into the light recently with an official single release on Republic, so we’re going to give the brilliant re-work of one of our favorite Phantogram songs another much deserved whirl. British project UTRB, whose dark and gritty synthpop and electronica is always welcome in our books, strips down Phantogram’s trip hop anthem, creating an ambient electronic soundscape full of smooth ripples, cosmic synths, and glitchy beats in its stead. The resulting composition feels like it spans space and time. It’s a profoundly sprawling, deeply meditative beauty that could very well be examining the meanings of love and life, or how they’ve intertwined through the ages.
