Lately every time I start up my laptop I get the error message "This application failed to start because lua.5.1.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem." Like I've looked up how to fix it and it keeps popping up. I've done virus checks, registry checks, and all that. I haven't deleted anything important so I don't know. I'm tempted to just get a new laptop because it's so laggy and gets overheated quickly even after I clean the fans.
I don’t know what that error is off the top of my head, and since you said you've already researched solutions, I won’t bother.
However, I would advise against buying a new computer if that is the only thing that’s wrong. Worst case scenario, just back up your files and re-install your operating system.
